Did anyone know where my daughter left her jeans?

Apparently they were ‘there’ but now they’ve gone- I’ve been out all day and at a work dinner so only just got home... I have no idea where these rouge jeans have gone and she’s having a melt down as she NEEDS them for Xmas jumper mufti tomorrow.

So aibu to assume you moved them? If so please tell me where they are so I can go to bed and she can stop her breakdown and my neighbours can stop thinking we live in a mad house.

Has she got a sister? I’m always suspect number one when my sister misplaces clothes even now when we have deprecate homes.

Is she being at all nice about asking you to help her find them? If not id say "Ive no clue where your jeans are, see you in the mornin".

Offer to lend her some of yours. That should ensure she finds them immediately........

I've got them and not giving them back, you don't know where I live, so there!

Tumble drier, wash basket, between the bed and the wall? If these places do not result in jeans being found, give you Dd a red marker pen and she can just colour in her legs instead.

Is she wearing them right now? If not, the jeans are over there helpfully waving a vague hand in that direction. If not over there, are they over there? Or under that? Or on the bed? Or on the floor? Or exactly where she bloody left them?

Are they not easy to spot give they are red?
Under the duvet would be my bet or in our house under the cat.

Jeans are officially lost

Will distribute lost posters tomorrow around nearby streets and seek out a support group. Think it’s too early at this point for an inquest into events but I’ll keep you posted 🙄
