Christianity has been used for 2000 years to oppress women and is still being used for that purpose across the world today.

As I have said my opinion is that people are concerned about immigration and the culture of Britain changing. This picture is repeated all over Europe at the moment with the rise of Le Pen in France the PVV in the Netherlands, afd in Germany etc. The EU is seen as a large unnacountable body wreaking enormous demographic and cultural change on Europe. It's a European problem, who else is responsible if not the EU ? Out of interest what percentage of the UK population do you think will be islamic in say 75 years ? Do you care ? Perhaps you don't but plenty people do and you can only put your fingers in your ears and shout "racist" at them for so long.

Not necessarily, apart from anything else some N.African/ME counties speak French rather than or as well as English - Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Lebanon, (ex French colonies), Libya, and also West African countries.

I didn't claim Muslims coming to the UK via the EU was what was causing a cultural change..what I said was that when another European country unilaterally decides to admit 1000000 Muslims they can choose to grant them citizenship and they can move anywhere in the EU.
