We see a lot of threads about what the partners do that grind our gears so I thought maybe some of us could own up to the things we know we do! No one is perfect after all Grin

I'll start... Mine is baths. I can sit in the bath for well over an hour which often leaves OH bursting for the loo or waiting for a wash himself. I'll admit, it's pretty selfish when he's come in from a day at the workshop very grubby and needing a clean. I don't even notice the time go, I just love relaxing in there!

I get very defensive and I do not listen to what he tells me. I am not someone who likes being told what to do lol.

TinaTurnipp · 15/12/2018 09:26

I am just a general pain in the arse. But he loved me

You and me both!

I'm reading a lot of these and seeing myself in them. Maybe I need to go and tell OH how much I appreciate him putting up with me Grin

Thanks for this thread, I'm reading these and seeing my DH in so many of them, maybe I should be more compassionate. It annoys him that I don't understand that we are all wired differently.

I annoy him because I'm a morning person and wake up doing stuff, I'm too organised and tidy, I like to plan and I like everything in its place.

AllTakenSoRubbishUsername · 15/12/2018 15:29

My husband is lovely, so kind, accommodating and easy going. But when I rearrange his careful dishwasher sorting he gets this little twitch at the corner of his eye. So much fun!

cl61reb · 15/12/2018 16:49

Breath!!

TinaTurnipp · 15/12/2018 17:15

I scream/shout/slam my hands on the dash/completely over react whenever he slightly deviates from perfect driving.

He gets very annoyed at that.

What do I do that annoys my DH? I nag him to do/not do the things he does/doesn't do, that annoy me Wink Grin

I'd kick you out the car if I'm honest OP. Dangerous shit you're pulling there.

LakieLady · 15/12/2018 17:20

I put clothes in the wash inside out, socks still in bottom of trousers etc.
Don’t stack the dishwasher ‘properly’

DP, what are you doing on Mumsnet?!

mrsjackrussell · 15/12/2018 17:22

Crunching crisps too loudly. Hmm

LakieLady · 15/12/2018 17:57

I ask him where he has put things, on the rare occasions he has tidied up.

Ifangyow · 15/12/2018 19:40

Snore.
I think only the thought of spending time in prison stops him from smuffocating me with my own place of pillow.

Ifangyow · 15/12/2018 19:42

Me with my own pillow, that should read.Grin

delilahbucket · 15/12/2018 19:49

I'm not very tidy, but in my defense I do try, and I am clean. I tend to get sidetracked mid task, start something else, and forget to go back to the original task. If I ask I question I expect an immediate answer to a simple question, not a two minute pause in between. It drives me mad dp takes ages to answer and it drives him mad that if he doesn't answer quick enough for my liking I ask again!

I think he's considered it before. In my defence he can he a pretty lousy driver at times (has no space awareness in particular)

The comments about sneezing in this thread are cracking me up for some reason 🤣

TinaTurnipp · 17/12/2018 08:45

I'm definitely stealing the pika one. Very funny and evil. I love it.

I say "dishwashers free" when he lays dirties on the counter ABOVE the dishwasher. I'm not his ma or his wife, I'm not picking up after him.
He HATES it when i say that.
I ask him to spray his ap in another room as the fumes hurt my lungs.
I ask him to hang his wet towels rather than leave on the bed/floor
I don't bother with sexy underwear much.
Ditto make-up
There's loads.

JustMarriedAndLovingIt · 17/12/2018 09:17

When I fart in the bath when he wants to get in 😂

TinaTurnipp · 17/12/2018 10:35

Loads!
I spend too long in the shower
I am untidy
I only drink half a drink
I always need the loo 30 seconds before we leave the house
I always moan about my Mum but get offended when he moans about her!
I sometimes forget my DS is 13 and baby him

God, I’m really annoying!
