Just thought I would put a silly thread together based on problems we face.

I realised one first world problem I had today!

I was in the supermarket cafe and wanted to surf the internet on my phone, I then realised my phone had connected to the supermarket WiFi and it wouldn’t allow me to open any web pages up, so I had to turn off my WiFi and use my data, I then forget to turn my WiFi back on and then use up all my data!!

Anyone else got any first world problems?

@SilkenTofu that really made me laugh 😂😂😂

hamsterwheel · 14/12/2018 08:28

I had to type my pin number in as the contactless pad wasn't working.

SouthernComforts · 14/12/2018 09:40

My new tv doesn't have enough HDMI ports for my freeview box, firestick and PS4, so occasionally I have to get up and pull the tv stand out to switch them round.

Landlord is selling and we are moving because we are sick of viewing and obnoxious estate agents. It is very inconvenient but we have found a lovely new flat with an extra bathroom, extra parking space, swimming pool and gym!

ExcitedForChristmas18 · 14/12/2018 11:02

When you spend five hours putting up your Christmas tree, carefully put on the lights, placing each bauble beautifully in the perfect place...and then your EFFING lights break 😡😡😡😡

YorkshireIndie · 16/12/2018 23:27

The insurance company has written off the car and I have SEVEN days to find a new car because they will only pay for a hire car for seven days. This means that we will need to have sorted out a new car by Christmas Eve ShockShockShock

YorkshireIndie · 16/12/2018 23:28

But on a plus note I have got the insurance company to pay more for the car than I thought they would!

Just realised that when I bought my DD a pair of £12 bargain boots from Just Fab, that they have been taking £35 a month since (3 months taken and I have only just noticed 😞). Going to ring them once open to get a refund and cancel forever. I know there is probably going to turn out to be small print I missed. ☹️

SleepingStandingUp · 17/12/2018 00:52

I'm sayuo in bed waiting to see if my child you has decided he hates sleep and needs to hug my head will wake up again and I'm hungry but I'm too lazy to go downstairs for food and we have no bread as said child has decided it's his new favourite foood

OliveSeaTurtle · 17/12/2018 01:02

I ordered two sets of outdoor LED Christmas lights at the end of November from Groupon as I wanted to finally be organised this year and have lights like the neighbours.

The lights still haven't arrived and I think it's gone past the date I can apply for a refund so I'm out of pocket and out of lights!

SusieQ5604 · 17/12/2018 02:27

I bought too many Christmas presents and it's going to take forever to wrap them

brizzledrizzle · 17/12/2018 02:45

Bendicks don't make bitter gingers any more.

Frogletmamma · 17/12/2018 02:55

If we buy croissants for breakfast at the weekend I need to buy them again midweek as they go stale.

Todamhottoday · 17/12/2018 03:22

On my flight back home couple of days ago after living overseas, both the champagne and the white wine were warm. Just not good enough, first world problems but Im paying first world flight prices....

But got plenty in the house though, thanks to Majestic!

ruby1234 · 17/12/2018 04:19

I’m on holiday in Thailand- it has rained for the past 3 days.

MerryBear · 17/12/2018 05:13

The days of problems in the UK being mostly first world ones are numbered.

SkullPointerException · 17/12/2018 05:21

Since my last raise I'm decidedly well-off. I have no idea what to do with all my money and I think I need a tax consultant and an investment expert to help me.

Genuine first world problem right there.

HopeIsNotAStrategy · 17/12/2018 06:35

Last night DH wanted to sit down and plan some weekend visits to our lovely new place in the sun for the new year. He was very excited.

I was too tired after putting up the Christmas tree.

Kismetjayn · 17/12/2018 08:53

DP always flaps the covers back slightly too far when getting into bed so my shoulder is cold for about thirty seconds.

user1457017537 · 17/12/2018 09:07

It always rains in Thailand Christmas and New Year

Fashionista101 · 17/12/2018 18:41

@SkullPointerException you win 😂

mouseymousie · 17/12/2018 20:43

We've not used our hot tub in winter yet & i am a bit worried the walk from the end of the garden to the house is going to be freezing on Xmas day 😬

Verbena87 · 17/12/2018 20:44

I’m tired of saying the sentence “no, that’s not food” to my one year old (who incidentally displays no desire to eat any actual food and seems keen to subsist on a diet of breast milk, little bits of ripped up reading book and sudocrem. Oh good.)

EddieVeddersfoxymop · 17/12/2018 21:11

The company we've booked to double the width of our long drive can't do it until after new year. Despite living with the drive as it is for 14 years, I find it intolerable to have to wait another 3 weeks. Ffs I have 4 cars to park on it, don't they realise that?????

Charlottejade89 · 18/12/2018 12:31

Been waiting ages for the baby to have a nap so I can do my wrapping, got all the stuff downstairs ready. But now she is napping I can't be arsed any more
