To think womens sport is screwed?

This year we have already had the WOMENS world champion track cyclist Rachel McKinnon here

Now we have Hannah Mouncey playing in the world WOMENS championship handball here

Sportswomen must feel so silenced and powerless Sad

The powers that be have decided these males who identify as women can fairly compete in womens sport and to protest at against males will result in action against you with the risk you will be banned from your sport...

If you see this as a fair and level playing field on a biological level ( by that I dont mean saying TWAW and expecting me to accept that as an answer) then can you explain why?

I am very sad tbh that we are losing something we fought so hard for.

you missed to two transgirls in the US that are state (?) champions (1st and second).

And could well take a sports scholarship from girls.

It is only going to happen more and more.
Boiling frog comes to mind.

I know lots of people do not care about sport but it really does matter.
I never competed at a proffessional level but my achievments in sport when younger had a positive affect on me in later life.

Did you see the idiot French presenter who asked the female footballer receiving her award this week asking her if she knew how to twerk? I was fucking flabbergasted by his stupidity, as was the poor woman. She looked horrified.

I watched the draw for the women’s World Cup yesterday - was pleased it was shown live on the BBC. Gaby Logan (I think it was) quipped at the end of the programme “and we managed to get through all that without twerking! Remarkable!” which made me proper snort Grin

Womens sport is viewed the same way women earning a wage used to be...its pin money. Not really important and you can live without it Hmm

Until this stuff has a real negative affect on males the general public wont care.

YANBU. And it's not like we can say "we'll just identify into men's sports" - we wouldn't succeed there either.

Interesting as many trans men and transboys (female to Male) remain in women's sports. Wonder why that is 🧐

I honestly think that women's sport is dead and gone. I do not think that the mediocre male athletes that are currently beating elite women will give up their cosy position. They are cheats obviously but many, many idiots are cheering them on and do not care that women lose out.

Male feelings and rights to have those feeling validated comes above all else.

They say "we are women you must treat us as such" then they use their male voice their male strength and their male privilege to get what they want. They care not about the females they trample in their wake.

If you’d listened to Women’s hour on this subject, you’d know that women are perfectly capable of beating men, they just don’t believe in themselves enough to actually win.

I think the 2020 Olympics will be interesting.

Question - If a trans woman beats a woman’s record, will that record be the new official women’s record for future women to try to beat? Are people keeping track of women’s records so that if at a later date they realise what a mess it’s all become, they can reinstate the true women’s records?

Women need to come together and stop competing.
We also need to get all the men who don't agree with the lady dick on board so they all self ID as women and all compete against the lady dicks.
Then all the women self ID as men and we are sorted.
Perhaps then all the kool aid drinking woke fuckers will peak trans.

Oh god Lemon, that is so wrong, the male sorry that is who they biologically are, looks physically stronger and bigger, than the biological Female, who one earth thinks that is ok.

My goodness, women are being shat at from a great height. Of course we should be talking about it, and bringing the unfairness to the forefront.

I hope that Female boxer, sues the professional body which allowed her to be hurt by a man physically stronger and bigger than her, they did not ensure her safety. Natal women should refuse to compete against transwomen.

The only saving grace from this mess is that it makes more people peak-trans. I've had a few conversations with people who would have said "trans women are women" and sip the Kool Aid a little - but I find pictures like this are often the straw that breaks the camel's back in seeing through the bullshit
