interesting places you have breast fed

BF what kind of interesting places have you breast fed? I breast fed end of Clacton Pier & on a long distance flight to Asia -the air hostess gave my husband a big paper to give me privacy (many moons ago!)

In a layby in a random village, having pulled off the M6 with screaming child. 'Twas fine until the mobile library pulled in behind me and I had an audience of pensioners queued alongside my car.

In front of the Hoover Dam, on a boat in the middle of Lake Mead (near the Hoover dam), on long-haul and short-haul flights, in the cinema (got mastitis after that though as forgot which breast she was on and only gave her one), in the car (stationary), in my boss's office, on the Long Mynd, on a train, in the Titanic museum in Belfast, in a pub in Dublin...

In the great palace at Stirling Castle.

Pretty much everywhere I went for 2 years - shops, pubs, cafes, trains, at my desk on KIT half-day. The place I got most grief was in my own lounge from my ex fil - fortunately I'd had enough practice by that point to tell him to bugger off!

On the hard shoulder of the motorway unfortunately! Our caravan had a blowout and it was pouring with rain. There was a hard shoulder but no crash barrier or embankment. I sat in the back of the car with my seatbelt on as I felt it was safer than standing next to a live lane of traffic.

At a pantomime in a theatre (The Palace?) in Manchester. Brian Blessed was Captain Hook and woke up little one with his booming voice. Boob kept him quiet though.

But yeah, church, beaches, festivals everywhere really.

Once fed DC4 in the seating area outside macdonalds and was subjected to a tirade of abuse about thinking I was someone breastfeeding my baby whilst my other children were eating shit. Possibly he had a point.

In quite a few Michelin restaurants. I miss dd being a tiny baby, they’re so much easier to get out with. She’s sat through a 4 hour lunch in a 2* with no problems at all when she was tiny. Breastfeed and sleep! I wouldn’t even dream of taking her to anywhere nicer than a Jamie’s Italian for a long while now.

I had forgotten this until I read this thread, so thank you @mumsastudent . Sat on the ground underneath trees in a woods with squirrels running overhead. I felt like mother earth Grin

A nuns' convent! We were there to discuss the christening. The babies were getting fretful and the other two had their bottles off. I was encouraged to feed DS Grin

DS2 was fed here, there and anywhere in the sling. I have a fond memory of feeding him while walking around Tintagel Castle when an American tourist came up and petted him on the head while he was guzzling away. I couldn't work out if she knew he was feeding or not as most people tended to assume he was sleeping.

I breastfed everythere I went this year.
Definitely numerous times on the plane. On the bus, on the train, in a tram, and in the taxi (asked the driver to stop - long drive). In many cafes and restaurants, at work while meeting colleagues (we have a relaxed office). During my other child’s birthday party.

While walking on a hike in a carrier and sitting on a top of some hill in Yorkshire.

Only once I felt that I need to go to a bathroom to breastfeed her in private, when meeting a group of younger male colleagues- somehow doing it in front of them felt a bit weird.
