BF what kind of interesting places have you breast fed? I breast fed end of Clacton Pier & on a long distance flight to Asia -the air hostess gave my husband a big paper to give me privacy (many moons ago!)

Don't know about interesting - museums, shops, trains, planes, automobiles... On top of a mountain, on a chairlift!

Sorry to turn serious for a second, and I've done it as well, but know better, do better - feeding a baby in the back of a moving car is SO dangerous. If the car crashed, you could crush the baby with your weight Sad

Behind the counter of a shop we used to have in the city centre...Sitting on a rock in the glorious sunshine on the banks of the river Dee in the highlands... everywhere and anywhere reallyGrin

DW breastfed DS along the entire length of the West Highland Way through storms and sunshine when he was 6 months old.

In the checkout queue in Aldi, at afternoon tea in a London hotel as well as a bajillion pubs, restaurants and cafes. Wherever a feed is needed!

standing in the queue to see Santa, in the balcony during wedding vows (had to pull dress right down, so glad the couple didn't glance up Blush), display sofas in the middle of Costco.

Most random was when I was playing in an orchestral concert in Torquay which was held in an inflatable open fronted tent-thing. I took DD2 to the back of the tent in the interval for a top-up so she wouldn't scream all the way through the 2nd half. She was so distracted by the noise and wobbling walls that it wasn't entirely successful...

St Pauls? The Whispering Gallery? :) One of my dc was a glugger when feeding dead noisy - have visions of someone on other side trying to figure out what the strange noise was & where it was coming from! This is great - carry on! :)

I’ve only been doing it for 9 weeks so not as interesting as a lot of other people’s places but probably Sainsbury’s car park (whilst in the car), A&E’s waiting room or whilst I was having an ultrasound on my leg to diagnose DVT.

I’m quietly dreading when the time comes that my little girl isn’t asleep all the way through an outing and I have to feed in public though!

JeremyCorbynsCoat · 08/12/2018 20:27

A&e whilst attached to a drip probably the most random but if ive been there I've fed there Grin

Fishywishyhead · 08/12/2018 20:27

The queue of the runaway mine train at Alton towers while I was queuing with my older two. She was over a year old at the time so I felt a bit self conscious!

Notreallyhere23 · 08/12/2018 20:31

Had to pull over at the side of the track around West Midlands Safari Park. It was so hot and he was screaming.

A good memory though of feeding him and a giraffe walking past, doesn’t happen every day!

On a seating display in ikea. Only seats available!

TakeMe2Insanity · 08/12/2018 20:41

When I was pregnant I saw a woman breast feed her baby on a busy bus. I don’t know why it stayed with me. Fast forward to me with with baby on same busy bus and baby needed a feed and I fed him. When I looked up a pregnant woman was sat opposite me watching. I hope it gave her confidence to do so just like the original lady gave me.

Random places, the breast feeding rooms in Seoul. Women bf very very discreetly if at all or in rooms but the rooms are really lovely. We were there in winter and the strangest place had to be in an open air shrine. So the security guards went and made sure the heating (of the bf room) was warm before letting me in. We did it in public a few times but the best had to be in a muesum which had seats facing a huge window which could be seen as you entered. So you couldn’t see as you came into the room but instead as you entered the museum.

The main mosque in Abu Dhabi, no one was bothered. It was seens as functional.

Lots of airplanes, hotel breakfasts, where ever we were.

The most interesting I’ve seen finishing bf, has to be the other week in Madrid. A woman got on the metro, her baby started crying she pulled her boob out and baby on. The rest of the carriage looked at her adoringly. They told she was doing good. I don’t know what Spnish attitudes are but it just felt so positive.

WereYouHareWhenIWasFox · 08/12/2018 20:46

Those who have fed in toilets, are you not worried about germs? I am not a germophobe in the slightest, but there is something so disgusting about feeding in a toilet.
