BF what kind of interesting places have you breast fed? I breast fed end of Clacton Pier & on a long distance flight to Asia -the air hostess gave my husband a big paper to give me privacy (many moons ago!)

Back of a tattoo shop. I vaguely knew the owner and he saw me having a bit of a nightmare and told me to go and get comfy out the back bless him.

I’ve done the moving car while baby in seat one! Nowhere else very interesting really. Just loads of cafes and people’s houses.

Jenniferturkington · 08/12/2018 18:45

At the foot of Christ the Redeemer in Rio. Dd was 11 months and I think extremely thirsty. She had her first taste of an ice lolly shortly afterwards!

I’ve fed all three of mine at football matches too, and ds at a test match at The Oval.

Curlyshabtree · 08/12/2018 18:45

In a cemetery. Nice and peaceful!

ImAChaiseLongueGetMeOutOfHere · 08/12/2018 18:49

On the miniature train ride in a stately home.

At a conference.

In a bird hide.

In a library whilst supervising 24 reception aged children on a trip.

There's more!

Mine seem quite boring in comparison to others but beach, aquarium, Alton Towers (not on a rollercoaster though😆), lots of benches, zoo, cafes, parks.

reup · 08/12/2018 18:52

In the graphics output gallery for newsnight (they weren’t on air!)

At the back of a box at the panto

On a very windy cliff top in Sussex.

sparkysdream · 08/12/2018 18:52

In the train coming down Mount Snowdon. We were squished in elbow to elbow and I was next to an older man but I thought the carriage would prefer a quiet baby to a screaming one, and mercifully no one said anything. I have fed all over the place but the close quarters there made me nervous.

crosser62 · 08/12/2018 18:54

Magic kingdom Florida. ‘Twas magical!

School play.

Sports day.

Elllicam · 08/12/2018 18:55

Walking round the zoo (baby in a carrier). Walking down the royal mile in Edinburgh (under my coat).

coffeeagogo · 08/12/2018 18:59

Windsor great park

Mynydd · 08/12/2018 19:07

I've breastfed most places I've been in thepast 2.5 years! Long haul flights. Perched on a dry stone wall. On a rock on the side of a mountain. On the new york city subway. Ferries to a Scottish island. In a field at a music festival. Leaning against a tree. In the bath. On the toilet. If I've been there, I've fed there!

Thanks op that's actually really nice to think about Smile

LaurieMarlow · 08/12/2018 19:08

On numerous beaches.

The best I've ever seen though was a woman sat on the floor outside the lion enclosure at the zoo Grin

afrikat · 08/12/2018 19:08

So many places

In hairdressers whilst having dye put on
In a cemetery during the burial
Walking round Ikea with the baby in a sling
In a wheelchair in Magic Kingdom Florida
Every train, plane, bar, restaurant etc we went on/to for 3.5 years (2 kids)

Elfinablender · 08/12/2018 19:10

During an earthquake.

RaiderOfTheKitchenCupboard · 08/12/2018 19:12

In the men’s shoe department of Debenhams while my husband was shopping for a new suit.

AliCanTea · 08/12/2018 19:12

I'm enjoying this :) Makes me feel better about upcoming baby. Hope I can follow your examples.

RiddleyW · 08/12/2018 19:14

If I've been there, I've fed there!

Absolutely same but it’s making me realise I live a really boring life.

quarterpast · 08/12/2018 19:14

In the Science museum and the Natural History museum in London Grin

KTD27 · 08/12/2018 19:16

On Thomas the tank engine! Went to a ‘day out with thomas’ and on a life size steam TTTE I fed my little girl quite happily

Alloftheboys · 08/12/2018 19:17

Walking round a reservoir.
Feeding DS2 during ds1’s nativity at playgroup. For some reason they had a donkey and two sheep in a tiny little room with all the children and parents. Was worried the animals might want some Grin!

Sowhatifisaycunt · 08/12/2018 19:19

In several churches. I’m not religious and rarely go to church but always seemed to need to breastfeed when we did Confused

NeverTwerkNaked · 08/12/2018 19:22

Half way through a job interview Grin. DD was only a few months old and it was a long interview (test etc as well as interview) so they scheduled a feeding break into it for me.

ChocolateChipMuffin2016 · 08/12/2018 19:27

In my boss’ office was probably the strangest, most of the time it was cafes. M&S was always the best, they would bring my food/drinks over whilst I got myself sorted and gave me extra biscuits!

BergamotMouse · 08/12/2018 19:29

I hope this gives confidence to people that it is ok to breastfeed anywhere and everywhere!
