Tripped up post office steps

Hi mumsnetters. Hoping you can help me here.

My friend Bos asked me to pop to the post office for him. No problem I said. Always glad to help. But when I got there I found him already loitering and, wait for this, he walked up the post office steps!

I literally awoke from a nightmare about this thread last night.
My latest thoughts are that it's something akin to those magic eye pictures that were all the rage in the 90s.
You stare and stare at it and then suddenly an image pops out at you.
Could it be something like this somehow?
No idea how though!

It was Did Boscombe Down? When I was last in the thread 😂 I knew him as Well doesn’t work either though as he doesn’t need to be approaching anywhere.
And the op would have at least been back to say the friend wouldn’t tell her if it wasn’t a load of BS.
