What is this monstrosity?

I regularly contribute my tuppence worth on MN but I've name changed for this as A) I don't want to be associated with this and B) I feel like a fucking eejit.

So, my sister came round for a visit today and we decided that we would get a dominoes pizza as a treat.
By some weird twist of fate I accidently clicked on the cheese button which added extra cheese. I didn't want extra cheese on my margarita so I clicked the button again and carried on with my order.
Well they sent me this abomination.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm not against tomatoes and pizza base but I bought the pizza for the fucking cheese.
AIBU to think that delicious tomato bread is a delicacy people rarely order from a pizza establishment (please note I am not getting at anyone who is unable to eat cheese/dairy!) they require a phone number, so why didn't they ring to check?
Seriously dominoes, why?!

What is this monstrosity?

Lots of people eat pizza marinara.

Leonie87 · 01/12/2018 19:19

😂😂

Sorry I know you’re probably devastated

Avegemitesandwich · 01/12/2018 19:20

Oh I would be absolutely gutted at that Sad

festivedramallama · 01/12/2018 19:21

@leonie, words simply cannot express how I am feeling right now...

CrabbyPatty · 01/12/2018 19:24

Feel your pain but I wouldn't expect them to call to check.

treaclesoda · 01/12/2018 19:24

I'd probably cry. Margarita pizza is my favourite food in the world and if it came with no cheese. Sob. Sad

honestlynotagain · 01/12/2018 19:25

@crabby no, probably not. I just wish things were different hangs head in sadness

honestlynotagain · 01/12/2018 19:26

@treaclesoda there was a point where I felt tears may have come but I will retire to bed early tonight to shed them in private.

@shortyboo thank you. It's appreciated.

CountessOfNowhere · 01/12/2018 19:33

I would cry. But then I pull the cheese off and leave it till last because it's my favourite bit. I'm surprised they didn't contact you to check tbh, I would have thought that a no-cheese pizza is pretty unusual.

TigsytheTiger · 01/12/2018 19:36

Ha ha reminds me of when I accidentally asked for a plain chicken wrap at the McDonald's drive through - by plain I meant not breaded chicken or bbq chicken. Got home to one plain tortilla with 2 pieces of chicken breast forlornly wrapped up Blush

WhipItGood · 01/12/2018 19:37

It looks sort of naked Confused

NotANotMan · 01/12/2018 19:37

Grate some cheddar on and stick it under the grill. And never order minging dominos again!

honestlynotagain · 01/12/2018 19:38

@tigsy, such disappointment!!

Literally, my face went the same colour when I realised what sqwas in front of me. My sister and DH think it's hilarious.

@notanotman
You have made an excellent and reasonable suggestion. Sadly we are lacking in the cheese department (need to do a food shop) and have one quarter of some cheap smoked cheese left. I can't bare it.

Onemorefireball · 01/12/2018 19:43

It's much more common than you'd think for someone to ask for no cheese. Do you really expect them to phone you to check you actually wanted what you ordered?

SmallDalek · 01/12/2018 19:43

minimalist pizza. I guess with the amount of dairy free, wheat free requests that are made these days, they’d not even think to question the order.

honestlynotagain · 01/12/2018 19:43

Oops bear not bare. It's been a great day for errors.

WoollyMollyMonkey · 01/12/2018 19:44

I bet it cost around £15/20 as well, eh? For bread and tomato sauce! 😂

honestlynotagain · 01/12/2018 19:44

@fireball er...yeah.

MawkishTwaddle · 01/12/2018 19:44

Nick some cheese off your husband’s. Serves him right for laughing.

ThePoliticiansPraiseMyName · 01/12/2018 19:45

We've always ordered cheese-less pizza due to dairy intolerance, and have never had a phone call to check what we wanted. This isn't the pizza places fault, you get plenty of chances to review your order before you click confirm!
