No.

FissionChips · 26/11/2018 22:25

How the fuck would that tat be worth £110?!

Frankswife87 · 26/11/2018 22:25

It's expensive tat!

WineIsMyMainVice · 26/11/2018 22:25

Not at all.

Amicompletelyinsane · 26/11/2018 22:25

No, my child had a drinks bottle from there for school. Dropped it once and it's shattered. Overpriced tat

Frankswife87 · 26/11/2018 22:26

Identical stuff on Claire's accessories but a fraction of the price.

redcaryellowcar · 26/11/2018 22:26

I went to our local art shop and bought similar but probably better quality things, and on plus side felt I was supporting a local independent business? I don't 'get' smiggle!?

Leeds2 · 26/11/2018 22:27

It's worth it, if that is what she wants.

I struggle to believe that what you have listed comes to £110 though!

LEMtheoriginal · 26/11/2018 22:27

Do you mean £10?

I’m pretty sure I listed it all
Defo 110 pound

Every time I hear about Smiggle I am surprised they aren’t in administration.

22Giraffes · 26/11/2018 22:29

Nope. It's overpriced and bad quality imo. My dd had a fleeting love for them but soon got fed up when the things she had bought fell apart or didn't work properly!

glueandstick · 26/11/2018 22:30

I got 6 pens for a fiver a week ago. The multi colour biro jobs.

Shittily made and shit. But the kids will like them and less than a quid each.

You’re nuts to buy anything from there.

Bumbumtaloo · 26/11/2018 22:31

I bloody hate Smiggle and all my DD’s go on about is their bloody stuff! I did cave and buy DD1 a pencil case for her birthday, I got it from ebay though. It’s a genuine pencil case and only about 75% cheaper than the smiggle site, but cheaper.

MadameButterface · 26/11/2018 22:31

Smiggle is bullshit (zips break, straps snap and so forth) i’m so glad mine are growing out of their obsession now. The good news is it’s so popular cheaper places are imitating it and you can now get smiggle-esque shite at unsmiggle prices in poundland and b&m etc

Ugggh then i think of all this horrible plastic kicking aroundthe planet long after we’re all dead and buried and i just feel like such a dreadful human

catsoup · 26/11/2018 22:31

I like their gel pens and DD has a school bag from there which is lasting very well. I'll not be buying any big things from there again though because it is over priced.

I like the 5 things for 5 pounds section which is things like pencils, pens and little things. I'd get your DD a couple of things off the list but not the whole lot.

Jellycatspyjamas · 26/11/2018 22:32

No it’s massively overpriced and poor quality. Could you not buy her one or two things from there and other stuff elsewhere? I couldn’t bring myself to spend three figures on that crap.

BadgerWithRice · 26/11/2018 22:32

No definitely not. Ds has bought things you can get in a pound shop for a fraction of the price in there and they have broken or run out shortly after.

It was a real novelty a couple of years ago but sadly the quality isn’t there to sustain them, like a Pp I suspect they will not last long

Get some lovely bits from a cheaper store and package them up in a hamper, and buy one or two cheaper items with the smiggle brand on to tick the brand box

shouting · 26/11/2018 22:32

No, and it all breaks really easily so not that good for little ones.

Lonely200144 · 26/11/2018 22:32

Sorry I don’t did leave off a pack of pencils !!

I hate Smiggle. It hurts my eyes just going into the shop. And the prices are insane.

Atalune · 26/11/2018 22:33

The hard body pencils cases are good and the back packs.

Everything else- dross that you can get fro a fraction of the price (wilkos)

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 26/11/2018 22:36

I much prefer Flying Tiger - amazing stuff in there and very cheap.
