Wake up
Swish some Listerine in my mouth while on the loo
Dress in T-shirt, sports bra, tights, hip bag with phone
Drink a glass of water
My door opens onto the Rhine path, which is motivating !
A few minutes jogging
Then do sprint intervals
Long jog with more intervals between
Some mornings, I cycle to the gym instead and do spin class, or lift weights
Eat afterwards, including protein.
calishata No need to stretch before exercise when the body is cold - stretches are better after exercise, when the body and muscles are warm & flexible
A gentle dynamic warmup is better, e.g. jogging
To cooldown, a few minutes jog and then walking works best for me - in fact I rarely do stretches & I don't get sport injuries.
