Today I saw this

Vaginal bleaching is the latest ‘trend’ aimed at making women feel insecure

I despair. I really do.

Its nuts! Just like anal bleaching.
What next?!

SerenDippitty · 21/11/2018 18:09

YANBU. This is just desperate..

Nizuc · 21/11/2018 18:12

When I had chemo I lost all my hair - and I mean all. The resulting site below looked like an old elephants jowls. A bit of bleach would have done nothing.

LalaLeona · 21/11/2018 18:13

Very sad times we live in

LalaLeona · 21/11/2018 18:13

Bring back the bush!! Then nobody would give a toss!

jenthelibrarian · 21/11/2018 18:14

Obvs I'm totally behind the times, I thought we were supposed to tint it pink, not bleach the bejeesus out of it.

RetinolRedux · 21/11/2018 18:15

Now there’s a slogan I could march behind Lala

Bring back the bush!

Thank you, you’ve made me laugh! That article had put a right downer on my day. Smile

So depressing. God forbid women actually look like real women, I forget we're all supposed to be bleached, hairless, uniform sex dolls.

Theknacktoflying · 21/11/2018 18:16

but everyone needs to change their ring tone Grin

Racecardriver · 21/11/2018 18:17

I am 100% natural down there. Pretty sure the skin under the outer labia/the inner labia isn’t even visible. You’d have to go down there with a head torch and those plastic things dentists use to hold you mouth open to even be able to tell how dark the skin is.

UnderMajorDomoMinor · 21/11/2018 18:20

Oh the very idea of a laser down there makes me clench!

itsbritneybiatches · 21/11/2018 18:26

Chemically bleaching your fanny. WTAF. Is this an actual thing now??

That's got to hurt. It hurts if you get immac on your arse never mind a chemical bleach of your flaps.

The bit about the lady who tried it on her lunch break, haha I go the post office and The Asda.

ItsJustTheOneSwanActually · 21/11/2018 18:29

Batshit

SlippedMyIdiom · 21/11/2018 23:46

It seems we need a stronger word for NO.

WTFIsAGleepglorp · 21/11/2018 23:51

It seems we need a stronger word for NO.

HELL NO!

FUCK THAT!

NO WAY!

Guiltypleasures001 · 21/11/2018 23:56

Itsbritney how did you get immaculate with on your arse?
Got it my clit once, 😩Confused

Storm4star · 21/11/2018 23:56

I don’t have words to express just how ridiculous I think these things are. I really don’t. I am beyond glad I’m nearly 50 and can just shake my head at such things! I’m so pleased I was a young woman in the 80s when all we had to do was fluff up our hair and stick a bit of eyeliner on! No messing with any private parts required!

Guiltypleasures001 · 21/11/2018 23:56

Ahh hate this iPad immac

Guiltypleasures001 · 21/11/2018 23:57

Amen Star

Singlenotsingle · 21/11/2018 23:59

Fanjos need leaving alone; no shaving, no bleaching, nothing! God made them the way they are for a reason.

HopeIsNotAStrategy · 22/11/2018 06:28

How self obsessed would you need to be to do this? Seriously.

BeardedMum · 22/11/2018 06:37

I hardly bother with my bikini line. Who has the time for all this?

PositiveVibez · 22/11/2018 06:48

Bring back the bush!! Then nobody would give a toss!

🙏

My bush is all au naturel. Apart from a trim of course, otherwise I'd have to plait it.

Bleaching your fanny though. What fucking nonsense bullshit.

Where's the cock bleach? Oh nowhere because most men wouldn't be pressured into pouring it over their manhood to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the female gaze.

GottaGoGottaGo · 22/11/2018 06:56

Where's the cock bleach? Oh nowhere because most men wouldn't be pressured into pouring it over their manhood to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the female gaze.

That's because, to be fair, NOTHING could make the last-chicken-in-the-shop look aesthetically pleasing... Grin Wink

WitchyMcWitchface · 22/11/2018 06:56

It's one of things where you wonder if there might be headlines in the future 'increase in labial skin carcinoma, doctors blame the trend for bleaching in the early decades of this century' blah blah.
Probably not but it seems a slightly unnatural thing to do.
