I'm hardly her number one fan but I can't see how getting rid of her is the answer. They just don't seem to know what they're doing. It's an absolute mess whichever way you look at it.

That’s brexiteers though, isn’t it? They’re utterly privileged, completely immune from the affects of a crashed economy, food or med shortages or the troubles, just playing power struggles.

Bluntness100 · 15/11/2018 18:08

TM has balls of steel

I agree, I just watched her press conference and although she is clearly knackered, you've got to give her credit for having a bigger set of balls than any other politician right now.

It honestly makes me sick the way they attack her but none of them want to step up and be the face of it. It's like it's a fucking sport to them.

squiglet111 · 15/11/2018 18:09

I just wonder if she would be getting this much infighting / negativity if she was a man🤔

silvercuckoo · 15/11/2018 18:10

Being an immigrant in the UK during her time as Home Secretary, I don't have any kind feelings towards TM. But I must admit being impressed with her today. It looks like she went for 48+ hours without sleep, all that while being not too young and diabetic, facing nothing but public hostility. On a personal level, I admire her for this.

Ylvamoon · 15/11/2018 18:10

I don't think it's TM per say. Whoever took the job of PM after DC Brexit referendum was going to be a scapegoat for leaving / staying in the EU.
I think all politicians should stop the playground fighting, unite and get on with the job (whatever that is).
Because at the moment Britain IS the laughing stock of the Word the EU.

Frazzled2207 · 15/11/2018 18:11

I think she's doing the best she can in a very very difficult position- could never vote for her though.

TheLastNigel · 15/11/2018 18:12

All the interviews with MP's this evening...'the deal is unacceptable' 'we need to do XYZ'
Interviewer 'would you do the job if TM went?'
Mp 'well I'm not saying thaaat'

Easy to talk about what we should do, harder to do it. The whole thing is just a horrific shit show. I've had to turn it off.
If I were TM I'd have jacked it in ages ago tbh...

MarshaBradyo · 15/11/2018 18:13

Bloated and insipid the male hecklers, from a point of privilege.

Helmetbymidnight · 15/11/2018 18:14

What do people mean to unite and get on with the job?

The80sweregreat · 15/11/2018 18:19

I wonder if the draft will get through now? They keep saying it won't , but I'm not so sure now!
Who knows? I don't , but I've a feeling they will all think again.
If it doesn't get through Parliament will that mean a no deal? That is a scary thought.

PennyArcade · 15/11/2018 18:28

If Mogg takes over from TM we will leave with no deal. There's no doubt about that.

VanillaSugary · 15/11/2018 18:28

Alright. TM has tits of steel then.

Helmetbymidnight · 15/11/2018 18:29

Several mumsnetters wanted that two and a half years ago (shrug)
People voted for this shit.

Santaclarita · 15/11/2018 18:32

I am still fully blaming Nigel farage and Boris Johnson for this. They led the campaign and then scuttled off when they won. Their fault.

M3lon · 15/11/2018 18:32

Tits of steel it is!

The80sweregreat · 15/11/2018 18:37

My MP was on this morning gloating and waiting for her to resign! I bet his gutted.

Helmetbymidnight · 15/11/2018 18:42

The good thing is maybe we will learn that voting for a bunch of inherited wealth, posh boys who have displayed zero interest in the normal working people isn’t going to work out well for us.

KenBarlowsGlasses · 15/11/2018 18:43

I think she's more tougher than the others - especially those that's been throwing their weight around and their toys out the pram.

She can't win and is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.

Fucking better than Corbyn, McDonnall and Abbott any day though.

Fuck that. I'd rather move to Russia than live in a country governed by them.

Helmetbymidnight · 15/11/2018 18:45

I love that someone voted for leave because a woman in Greece told her too.
Classic.

jasjas1973 · 15/11/2018 18:49

...or a power crazed megalomaniac who doesn't know when to quit?

Unless this deal is renegotiated, it wont get through the HoC and she is too stubborn to look at alternatives, jeez she wouldn't even admit that the snap GE was a mistake and she was pleased she called it! a proud
but foolish PM.

DarklyDreamingDexter · 15/11/2018 18:54

I feel very sorry for TM. It's a totally no-win situation. You can't please everyone as opinions are so polarised. She's doing the best job she can. If I was her I'd be very tempted to say "sod off and let's see you do better" to all the people on both sides who are criticising her. I just hope that idiot Boris Johnson doesn't get in by default. (Pretty sure he won't as he divides opinion in his own party.)

VanillaSugary · 15/11/2018 18:55

@M3lon Something to hang those weak and feeble male balls off 😂🤣😁

Lottapianos · 15/11/2018 18:56

"I am still fully blaming Nigel farage and Boris Johnson for this. They led the campaign and then scuttled off when they won. Their fault.'

Ditto. Waste of space, the pair of them

Helmetbymidnight · 15/11/2018 19:00

Brexiteers won’t be happy until they ‘feel free’ (even though we had not lost sovereignty in any shape or form)
So this was never going to work for them. They won’t rest until they’ve fucked us all over.
As for corbyn? Fml

catx1606 · 15/11/2018 19:02

litttlealbatross totally agree with you. The government were not prepared for a leave win. They should have had a plan in place for both outcomes, a proper Brexit team should have been put in place straight away, everything should have been reviewed before article 50 was triggered and they should have gone in there with experts who know how to deal with this. They've gone in there like a bull in a China shop and now look at the mess we're in.

Stop blaming the leave voters, whether you like it or not, both sides had a chance of winning and the government should have been prepared for that. There shouldn't be a GE now, it's not the right time. We need to get Brexit sorted, let the dust settle, give the country a chance to get back on its feet and then do a GE.
