What is your family's monthly take home money?

So following on from a popular thread about what us women earn, I am genuinely interested in how much net income families bring in each month?

This is not talked about in real life but I think it is so interesting and I am nosy

So how much money does your household bring in each month? Is it from work or benefits or both? And where in the uk are you?

I'll start:
Me, DH, 2x DC, South East. Money in each month is £3,900. This includes 2 salaries and child benefit.

1 full time salary, 1 part time salary and child benefit for two kids, about £4300

Myself and DH with one toddler. Income after taxes around £6k per month. Two salaries but I'm part time and on a much lower wage than him. We're in west, central Scotland.

I think it is so interesting

Just me and DS. I make 2500-3k a month before tax, working 2.5 days a week. I also get a widows pension from deceased DH's work.

About £12k pre tax. Husband works full time and I work part time.

Me, DH, DS & DD, one full time wage and child benefit for 2 kids, £3575 a month after tax

Post tax, I average about £9k and I think DH is about £4k but I'm not sure as we keep our finances separate.

Just the 2 of us, both in senior roles in our respective industries. Home Counties based.

We're on 6.5-7k after tax each month. We're pretty well off since moving (very far) out of London. No child benefit as DP earns above £60k. He earns about 50% more than me now, we're both FT. 1 DD in primary school.

Minimum is £3100 but it can increase depending on DH, so I'd say we average between £3100 and £3500 per month.

Family is me, DH and DS age 4.

We receive no working or child tax credits
No universal payments, only single child benefit.

£4400 after tax and pensions deductions. Two full time salaries. DP earns c£20k more than me. We're not entitled to child benefit.

About 11k after tax for me. Run a business so it can vary. Doing well despite brexit!

DH brings in a lot more than me but am too embarrassed to say even anonymously

For us its usually around £4800 dependant on my husbands overtime and I am part time. This seems a lot now I write it down but we have a chunky mortgage though and DH's overtime varies so most of the time we are on a strict budget each week. Me, DH and DC's 14 and 11 in secondary school x

We have £7500 after tax between us. We need to budget better.

Both work shift work so it varies. Between £2700-£3000 per month after tax including CB. DH is full time and I am part time.

All I can say is wow we don’t take home anywhere near these figures and we don’t consider ourselves poor

Husband and I both take home around £1250 each after tax etc. That's ok for me (non skilled admin based job) but a bit of a kick in the teeth for him (Chemist with 10 years industry experience but in a struggling work climate, there just aren't the jobs out there in his field)

I think a large section of Mumsnet are based in the south where salaries are higher for professionals.

About 13k per month. We’re in Dubai so no tax. Rental income on our house in the UK is about 1200 per month but that just covers the mortgage so doesn’t quite feel like income (I know it is!).

well a lot of security questions for banks are along the lines of: what’s your mortgage payment. and many posters will have other things like home town, name of pet, in other threads. it lets potential hackers piece together your identity.
