To ask why nobody on MN will say what their hobby is?

So many threads involving time and money spent on either their own or partners hobby, but never any mention of what the hobby is. Perhaps there is some sort of hobby hierarchy that I am unaware of where some hobbies are seen as bragging and some down right embarrassing.

Mine is triathlon and all the associated training.

I think you’d really struggle to be entirely anonymous on MN unless none of your posts had any personal opinions or references. I just choose to assume that I’m not really interesting enough to bother name searching.
