I've had a none moving sort of day, I've been snuggled under the duvet on the laptop and with a book, the news on mute in the background.

We've had a serious awful heartbreaking incident close to our house this morning so I've spent it snuggled up to my youngest DD over snuggling her feeling blessed and equally sad at the thought.

Tonight we're going to order a takeaway, choose a movie and snuggle down as a family with all our duvets and pillows downstairs.

Have a wonderful day what ever you do xx

Woke up at 9.
Did a little laundry.
Toast for breakfast.
Was planning on taking dd to shops, but her mate txt her and she's gone round there.
So I'm watching homecoming on prime.
I'll pick dd up when she texts me and depending on the time we may go to the shops.
We've got some filled pasta in the fridge and i may do a pineapple cake.

mumof2sarah · 10/11/2018 14:38

@Kemer2018 sounds like you've had a lovely day. Hope it continues and you enjoy your tea and Saturday evening x

Thanks for asking OP. Usually I would be doing nothing much but this morning a friend and I did an 8k cross country run so feeling proud of that.

Your evening sounds wonderful, I hope you aren't feeling too badly affected by the sad incident.

Sitranced · 10/11/2018 14:41

Cleaned the bathroom this morning and I've been pottering about in the garden trying to make some sort of ramshackle compost bin from some old bits of wood we've got lying around. It's getting there but the drill has run out of battery so I'm sat having a cup of tea.

Blueemeraldagain · 10/11/2018 14:42

Met my two brothers (youngest is 28 with ASD and a Pokemon Go obsession) for Cyndaquil (?) day. Caught loads. Now I’m minding an 18 year old girl with PMLD whole her parents go to an art exhibition (hoping to watch the rugby!) My DP is refereeing so we will meet back at home for take away and a movie about 8.

ladyvimes · 10/11/2018 14:43

Up early for swimming lessons. Done some housework and now watching hocus pocus with the kids waiting for dh to come home so I can have a bath and a pamper as I’m off out tonight! Yay!

RaptorInaPorkPieHat · 10/11/2018 14:43

Been to work this morning and now I'm getting ready to go and see George Ezra tonight (bit of a drive so leaving pretty early).

Doubt I'll be back before midnight Grin

sittingonacornflake · 10/11/2018 14:44

I got spice girls tickets!!

whensitmyturn · 10/11/2018 14:45

Hope you're ok mumof2 Thanks

I woke up naturally around half 7 and feel great after a week of 5:30 alarms!
Took dd2 with me to ds1 football match, dropped dd1 off at the cinema with friends. Picked up ds' friend and took them to Mac Donald's for lunch.

I finished my book over my (slightly) healthier lunch of soup and potato cake. Then just deep cleaned the kitchen. Going to take kids out to woods in an hour with my friend so they can burn off steam as they sound like a heard of elephants upstairs.

Then pick up eldest dd later when drop off ds friend and tonight we're all out at a family party.

wiilowmelangell · 10/11/2018 14:47

Two coffees, fed cats, cleaned out Guinea pigs, bath. Opened post and parcels. A tea. Washing up and laundry. Made Glamorgan sausages for my lunch. Staying on settee now.

Calzone · 10/11/2018 14:48

Dh making a sticky toffee pudding for a friend for her dinner party tonight. Her husband has terminal cancer and she’s not up to cooking.
Taking it round to her later and going to Sainsbury’s and Aldi.

mumof2sarah · 10/11/2018 14:50

@Jezebelz well done on your 8k run I'd be very proud too. The incident involves a child and it's not looking good. It's made me emotional, I'm feeling very blessed to know my children are safe and well today. Enjoy the rest of your day xx

@Sitranced sounds like you've had a lovely productive day. I'd say the drill thing is a sign to stop for the day and chill out now lol. (I find excuses for that in anything ha ha) enjoy your cup of tea xx

@Blueemeraldagain you sound like such a wonderful loving thoughtful person, sending you so much love, enjoy your evening xx

@ladyvimes Sounds lovely, enjoy your evening xx

@RaptorInaPorkPieHat Aww that sounds nice, I've heard he's good live, enjoy it and don't wear those glass slippers if you're back after midnight lol xx

I've been helping out a friend socialise some abandoned kittens so hopefully we can find good homes for them. Playing with them was a good start to the day. Had a 10k bike ride and then met friends for lunch and a few cocktails and will do an hour of yoga before I go to bed.

EnglishRose13 · 10/11/2018 14:52

Trying to study but I've got a headache so it's not going very well.

Then a firework display later.

Girlicorne · 10/11/2018 14:53

DS had football this morning, and we have made DD's birthday cake this afternoon for Monday. Geekster1963 · 10/11/2018 14:54

I love theads like this! Breakfast, maths homework, playing a new drum computer game, swimming lessons, lunch, more homework, board games, laundry, made aubergine parmeganne to our in oven later. Now getting anxiety and wondering if I remembered my medication. Maybe a run will sort it.

HashtagTeamRaven · 10/11/2018 15:20

Up at 4am to fly back from Dubai where I've been with work for 2 weeks.

Crack of dawn flight Dubai to Poland (5.5 hours) and then a 5 hour drive to my city, which is across a bizarrely strict border.

Now in Dominoes waiting for my pizza to take back to my flat, which I have no intention of leaving for the foreseeable future!

CheeseAndBeans · 10/11/2018 15:21

Up at 7am with the kids. Breakfast, cleaned kitchen and got a wash on.
OH working a late shift today so got up at 10am. He stayed at home with the kids while I did a food shop.
Came home and sorted washing and general tidying.
Soup and rolls for lunch.
OH went to work so me and the kids met a friend and her DD at the park for an hour.
Home now and watching a movie and munching on popcorn with the kids.
Don't plan on doing much else today. Have a frozen pizza, a bottle of wine and strictly to look forward to later once the kids are in bed!
