to not wear makeup to work?

I am starting a graduate job in January. I don't normally wear makeup. Am I sabotaging myself if I do not wear makeup?

Or should I wear makeup?

It is a corporate job.

I wear light makeup every day.
Just thinking about the (obviously senior and professional, like everyone on MN) team I work on and everyone is over 40 and nobody except me wears makeup. Hadn’t thought about it before!

I remember the boys on high school already openly and frequently commenting on the looks of the girls in class.

That’s interesting. I worked in a mixed sex school for many years and never heard comments like that. From year 7 till about the start of year 10 the girls and boys had nothing to do with each other.
