I’ve NC because I’m on here a lot and don’t want my new interestingly named group to out me Grin

I’m looking at starting up a knitting/crochet/craft group that meets in a pub and hopefully gets their drink on whilst doing our sexy stitchy thing.

There are so, sooooo many excellent knitting puns as names for groups but I just can’t quite make anything work Blush

Can any of you wonderful MNetters help please? Rude/innuendo/sweary names all welcome!

Please please please not the dreadful 'stitch and bitch'.

How about 'balls and banter'? Mind you that's not much better, sounds like something from the 'Dave' channel!

Knitmewithyourrhythmsticks · 26/10/2018 21:46

No Duggee I definitely am not keen on Stitch n Bitch. I quite like Balls and Banter but fear I may put off the actual women I would quite like to recruit as they may assume it’s some kind of LADS group Grin

I like The Woolpack! Thanks Woollyback

I just want something that’s a bit less obvious than the usual Knit and Natter (not that there’s anything wrong with that but I’m not quite 30 and in my area Knit and Natter tends to be in a library on a Monday afternoon for the 80+ crowd. I love my grandma dearly, I even love to have a few wines with her but I’m not quite fully there on spending all my time with her friendship group longest brackets ever )

I run a "craft and quaff". Bring your portable craft and drink beer (or the beverage of your choice). We share the pub with a group of adult Lego builders :-)

Athena51 · 26/10/2018 22:02

There's a poster on here called Knit Fast Die Warm, which is an excellent name. Maybe not suitable for a group, but I just had to mention it!
