@Feminist4

I call myself a woman. I think trans women are women too.

Shouldn’t you be calling yourself cis-woman though? Isn’t that the expressing we’re using now or did your forget?

I know it’s late and you have lectures in the morning but you need to be linguistically consistent in your ‘campaign’.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 24/10/2018 23:46

No -
Keep up.

Its women & cis women.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 24/10/2018 23:47

Twaw

You see

Women and cis women will do, these days.

JellySlice · 25/10/2018 00:10

I call myself a woman. I think trans women are women too.

Ah, well we know what that means. When it comes to AWA TRAs, transwomen call females ciswomen. Handmaidens call themselves ciswomen. Only transwomen call themselves women.

TheElementsSong · 25/10/2018 00:11

I'd rather share a changing room with a trans woman than a transphobe.

Ah, but how will you be able to tell?

The person next to you in the changing room could be a massive transphobe, but their true beliefs are inside their head. You could ask them, but if they were a transphobe, would you really expect them to say “Why yes, I am a transphobe, here to do you literal violence with my bigoted thoughts!” or would you expect them to reply “How dare you, I’m a real cis-woman and verily you have hurt my feelings!” You’d have to take their word for it, and hope they’re not about to inflict literal violence while you’re in a vulnerable undressed state.

Having typed all that, why am I feeling a weird sense of deja vu?

Oh yes, because that’s exactly how women and girls will be wondering how they can distinguish a male-bodied person who’s a real woman inside their head, from a male-bodied person who is there to do literal literal violence.

jillowarriorqueen · 25/10/2018 00:41

Classical example of biological males trying to be better women than biological females. What a crock of crap!

jillowarriorqueen · 25/10/2018 00:43

Yeah, not a cis woman. Just a woman. Suck.It.Up.

Blonde87 · 25/10/2018 01:02

Ok - when I was about 5/6 I used to think I was barbie (I actually thought I was better than barbie 😂) then when I was 10/12ish I thought I was Britney Spears, at 13/14 thought I was Christina Aguilera, then wanted to learn to cook so thought I was Nigella. More recently since having kids I have pretended to be Peppa Pig, Angelica off the rugrats, all characters off in the night garden and me and my 6 year old daughter think we are Beyoncé when we dance! So at the end of the day, if some geezer with a cock wants to pretend he’s a woman and call himself ‘trans’ then let him. But just like I’ll never be barbie or peppa or Beyoncé- someone born with a widge will NEVER be a woman.

What is a cis woman?

jillowarriorqueen · 25/10/2018 01:16

A Cis woman is what male bodied people call real women. It is also what confused real women and men call real women in an attempt to be right on and pc. Nothing to do with the truth though. Just an imposed identity on biological women - aka adult human females.

Most women reject the cis title.

BitOfFun · 25/10/2018 01:19

So we are basically defaulting to men = default humans then? Right-oh.

jillowarriorqueen · 25/10/2018 01:23

BitOfFun
yeah, seems that way :( Not happy about it as it seems neither are you. Need to keep fighting, sister.

BitOfFun · 25/10/2018 01:25

jillowarriorqueen · 25/10/2018 01:31

Transwomen are transwomen.

No periods, no miscarriages, no births, no stillborns, no need for abortions, no vaginal rapes, no unwanted pregnancies, no breast/ cervical/uterine/ovarian/endometrial cancers, no fear growing up about being molested/raped/assaulted; no socialisation to put themselves last and everyone else first, to remember birthdays, anniversaries and to send out gifts/cards for those to include Christmas; to always be a shoulder to cry on instead of a force to be reckoned with....

Transwomen do not experience this due to their biology. They grow up with male entitled privilege and then transition with the same male entitled attitudes, demanding access to intimate female only spaces and places, that biological women have fought hard to keep sacred and exclusive for reasons of safety, privacy and dignity. Men, you don't get to just walk in and undermine us.

Noqont · 25/10/2018 02:11

yes I would be very happy for a young girl to get changed with a trans girl - no problem

Not my young girl lovey. You don't get to decide that for other people. This is a massive safeguarding issue.

Blonde87 · 25/10/2018 02:12

@jillowarriorqueen
Thankyou for explaining- and please accept my apologies if I’m wrong but I assume that you think the same way as me (albeit you are much more well spoken/better educated than me) 🙈 I just always write all the crap that’s in my head and it never makes much sense when I read it back 😂🙈.

Blonde87 · 25/10/2018 02:14

@Noqont
Not my young girl either! I completely agree with you it’s a massive safeguarding issue.

ALittleBitofVitriol · 25/10/2018 02:14

Cis apparently means that your body aligns with your gender. Gender apparently means an innate sense of female or maleness.

How exactly one measures this 'sense' and how we know it is female or male seems to be based on nothing but stereotypes.

So calling someone a cis woman means saying that they are aligning with the stereotypes that are imposed on them.

Don't believe me? Mermaids uses a literal Barbie - GI Joe scale.

Oh, it also means that we call transwomen, women and women, cis women. Women are now a subset of women, with transwomen being real women. Clear as mud?

Female biology is at best irrelevant and at worst transphobic hate and literal violence. Unless you're talking about 'getting' a uterus to implant in a transwoman (the famous Miss Madigan said she was just like other women who couldn't currently get pregnant) or the AGPs fetishing it (don't Google what some of them do with used tampons...)

On a serious note though ........ ‘trans’😂😂😂😂😂😂🙈 my grandad will be turning in his bloody grave

LimpLettice · 25/10/2018 04:20

Vicious crimes by a few people now is it, not just one bad cookie? Minimising bullshit. Cookies, and women, don't rape children and vulnerable women. Men, with male bodies do. Stop it with the being ashamed crap too, it's downright embarrassing. Safeguarding is not hate, prevention is not bigotry. Really, how can anyone, never mind an actual woman, argue against safeguarding right now?

tripe2 · 25/10/2018 07:03

The labour party don't want people with this kind of view

It’s not a view as such, it is expressing the reality that self-identification leads to safeguarding concerns.

Why are the concerns of women dismissed as transphobic, when they are not?

Avegemitesandwich · 25/10/2018 07:07

Yep, girls are going to grow up with the usual 'don't wear a short skirt, don't get too drunk, don't stay out too late, don't walk home in the dark, don't walk anywhere in your own, keep yourself safe, you never know who is out there, perverts on every corner, the world is full of bad people so don't be careless and take risks' stuff.

Except alongside that now will be 'of course transwomen can use your changing room, why would you be uncomfortable being in an intimate space with a male body, why do you assume that everyone has evil intentions, that's so bigoted, it's only a penis what's the problem, why are you assuming that someone with penis would want to harm you, JUST BE KIND!'

Avegemitesandwich · 25/10/2018 07:11

Have the 'OMG you are soooo transphobic' brigade, actually read the screenshot from the OP? Which basically says that a man makes a better women's officer than a woman? And that the comments from people who disagree with that were being checked by 'compliance' to see if they were Labour Party members (presumably so that non believers can be removed) What is your view on that?
