to have politely asked the workman across the road to pull his pants up?

He has been working in a few flats in a building across the road for many months now...end of May.
All through the blistering summer he has been waddling in and out of the building with his track suit bottoms riding 3/4 the way down. Often, his van is parked in front of my house and i am treated to several displays of his barely covered arse.
Today I had enough. He had held up the traffic unloading bags of plaster from his van, the strain of which made his pants inch further down than usual and we were fractions away from a total denoument. Mind you, he managed all this with a fag in his mouth so his priorities appeared a little strange. My daughter was with me and we both had to sit and watch the show.
We parked up, I let her in to the house then I crossed back and said, politely, "Do you know how low your pants go? Please could you try and keep them over some of your bottom, some of the time?"
naturally, he told me to go fuck myself and not look at his bum, to which I replied, 'There are times I have no choice and quite frankly, its boring now."
Unreasonable? Or should I not have to see his hairy bum out on a regular basis?

This was my lovely neighbour last summer whilst he was gardening. Every time he bent down to pull a weed out, pretty much his whole bum was on show.

I was cleaning my windows at the time, so I just opened one and shouted over 'Oi neighbour (obviously his name) put your hairy arse away' He was a bit embarrassed, but his wife thought it was hysterical. Good job we are good friends.

He called me a lazy cow last week when my ironing lady turned up with all my ironing.

I may be tempted to say something to a builder/workman, but it would def be said in a jokey way.

Right then.
I am going to organise midday, naked gallop down my road.anyone want to join, drop me a line. Or just turn up and drop your drawers.
All in a good cause.
Bet I could raise several pounds for a deserving charity

Jarhead123. You seriously do not want to see this. The horror of it has driven me to asking him to keep it under wraps.
It would make the strongest of guts heave. Awful

You should grab a bag of plaster each-you can't pull your pants up while holding that, and it makes it fair.

lolaflores · 22/10/2018 19:32

Actually the man in the car behindme did get out to help in fairness. But the builder declined the offer.
He was smoking a bloody fag as he was carrying all these bags as well. That was impressive

Next time you're near him you could sneeze , energetically and violently in the vicinity of his bumcrack (carrying two bags so you can't reach for your tissue)

crazycatgal · 23/10/2018 15:42

@Sparklingbrook A female labourer with her bum out would still get lots of attention/stick so yes I think it's comparable.

Must be my neighbour, we call him Cleavage. I often got a view when he was loading up his van or working on his car. I've learnt not to look out of the kitchen window when he's outside. I've not felt the need to tell him to sort his trousers out and we've lived here for over 30 years.
