Why compare?
They both wore the dress they liked best. Sure you can have a preference of which dress you liked most, but to compare brides? Unnecessary, unkind and catty as hell. YABU.

Meghan is a very beautiful woman - it is just not fair to draw comparisons.

IME that’s a fair comment re: American actresses. There are rare exceptions (character actresses etc) but unless you are far more attractive than the average you can forget a role in Suits or higher profile similar genre. Of course you need to be talented too but being gorgeous & charismatic is practically a prerequisite for a woman.

I preferred Eugenie dress but it wouldn't suit me personally I thought it suited her down to the ground and the tiara the emerald looked stunning so nice to see a bit of colour at a wedding

But I have nothing at all against kate or Meghan they are all beautiful women they all looked fantastic and I hope they are all very happy

When Meghan got married someone posted on here saying how I'll fitting her dress was. I can't recall which poster, but someone then popped on to say that actually Meghan dress is how you wear couture. We are so used to seeing women crammed and squeezed into wedding dresses that we forget that actually the fit of her dress was perfect and how dresses should be. I totally agree with who said that, I can't tell you the amount of times I've seen a woman spilling out her dress!

I don't like either of them. I don't agree with royalty but I preferred Eugenies dress. This also doesn't make me racist.

Do you sit around with your friends saying 'which of us is better dressed here, let's make a comparison?' If not, why not? It's just an opinion, after all..

I think Kate, Meghan and Eugenie all looked lovely and elegant. Kate's dress is still my favourite, but I'm a bit of a sucker for lace. I think the OP is comparing which dress she ordered which is fine.

Meghan's halter neck evening wedding dress with the blue soled shoes was the most gorgeous dress ever IMO
