To compare Eugenie and Meghan

And say Eugenie won hands down re her style? I thought she was elegant and regal and beautiful.

I don’t really like Eugenie’s dress but I thought Meghan’s dress and whole look was absolutely perfect

Meghan is beautiful but her dress was crap. Kate is naturally regal, dress ok. Eugenie's dress was my favourite, very stylish and a possible inspiration for future brides.

Her dress and her tiara was much nicer, I was expecting her to look like a complete fucking mess to be honest (she can have a tendency to be the black sheep type). I feel like Meghan would of never chosen that style if she wasn't marrying a royal. Her dress today was also very drab, it's like she is always trying too hard to be boring, English and royal.

They’re just not really comparable, such different looks. I love looking at Meghan, she’s so serene.

Meghan’s dress was probably not her own choice but enforced as she was marrying a royal.

She would have looked too pretty or sexy on something similar to Kate’s and Eugenies dress and they just can’t have a black or biracial wan looking too sexy now... don’t want to give anyone a hear attack.

Well I'm just going to throw my opinion in here.

They all looked great in different ways. I liked Meghan's dress the most, because I like straight simple dresses. And I liked her tiara the most. But Eugenie looked very pretty and her and her husband look very happy together. Every bride should choose her own look and what makes her feel good.

Lots of comments on Mumsnet at the time about the fact that the bodice was ill fitting.

By people who don't know much about the history of Givenchy. The line's signature look is body-skimming outfits (a la Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy), and Meghan's dress was plain because her veil was very intricate.

I think both she and Eugenie looked beautiful in wedding dresses that suited them. A boat neck wouldn't suit Eugenie and a big skirt would drown Meghan, so they chose wisely.

My dress was £150 from local hospice charity shop. My whole wedding cost 4k, we fed 54 for a sit down, 80 for the disco, had a sweet cart. My auntie did my flowers and cake.

I always feel a bit sick when I see the price of a proper posh do. Each to their own and all that, but we did the big frock and bridal party and all the shebang for probably less than the brides frock. And I loved every bloody minute of it.

Yes, First, Meghan's dress was all the better for not being tight. I thought that I was missing something. I think that Meghan's was by far the best of the dresses that are drawing comparison.

I also agree about Camilla. Both her outfits were gorgeous, especially the second one for the blessing. I adored her hat too, that spray of gold. I’m no ingenue and I’m getting married soon, I’d love to be able to find something similar to wear.
