Pulling up weeds by the root - gives me shivers. I can’t even walk past them in the street.

Warning: this is so gross, but, using a tooth pick to clear out the tonsil stones that always develop in my right tonsil. I pushed a bit higher up the other day and one slid out that was half the size of a 5p coin. Blush

WildFlower2018 · 05/10/2018 08:51

There's an Instagram account where somebody scores blocks of soap and then slices it so it all falls off in tiny cubes. I'm quite into that at the moment 😆

StealthPolarBear · 05/10/2018 09:01

Plucking my eyebrows

headinhands · 05/10/2018 10:34

Opening the dishwasher and, low and behold, it's all clean!

DinosaurPoop · 05/10/2018 11:27

Cleaning all the hair out of my hairbrush and the hoover brush.

Recycling Blush not sure why I find it so satisfying. Will shout at DP when he throws something in the bin that could go in the recycling box and will fish around the bin to get it out and rinse it off.

ProfessorMoody · 05/10/2018 11:39

I was all for this thread until the one where someone nibbles their pubes 🤮

Myusername101z · 05/10/2018 11:41

Swapping the old dish sponge for a new one

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 05/10/2018 11:45

Cutting long toenails, plucking eyebrows, cutting split ends off hair, head massager thing with the prongs.

abitoflight · 05/10/2018 11:47

Peeling thin plastic covering off new electrical items

blueangel1 · 05/10/2018 11:50

Another vote for smoothing out Tunnocks teacake wrappers.

I also have to roll up a crisp packet when it's empty and tie it in a neat knot. It's curiously satisfying.

MaluCachu · 05/10/2018 11:52

Peeling open a babybel..smooooth

whyhaveidonethis · 05/10/2018 11:52

Turbulence when flying. The worse the better! I also loved watching air crash investigation before I leave for a flight!!

GummyGoddess · 05/10/2018 11:58

Folding carrier bags into triangles, peeling pva off my hands, cleaning the dcs ears, picking off cradle cap.

Driving along a newly laid road where it feels all smooth, especially a newly done roundabout.

bizzers · 05/10/2018 12:01

@whyhaveidonethis me too! I also love the moment you get pushed back in your seat at take off and the feeling of your stomach 'dropping' as they level the plane just afterwards!

bananafish81 · 05/10/2018 12:09

Similar to the teacake one, peeling off the foil from a creme egg in one piece without any tears, and smoothing it out

Peeling a satsuma in one go

Lifting the fluff from the dryer filter up in a single sheet - if DH is doing a load he leaves the filter out for me to clean, even though he also finds it deeply satisfying, cos he knows I love it

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 05/10/2018 12:11

When the dog is blowing his coat and I can pull out clumps of hair from his flanks. They are so soft.

Vacuuming the floor by the bird cage and loving the sound of the seed rushing up the tube.

Opening a new jar or bag of coffee. I don't drink it but I love the smell.

And my all time favourite - cutting a piece off of a magic eraser sponge. It is almost orgasmic.

darkriver198868 · 05/10/2018 12:14

That first sip of a drink from a soda can. Just something about it gives me a thrill.

Oysterbabe · 05/10/2018 12:20

Using up ends of things from the freezer that have been hanging around for ages as there isn't enough to make up a portion for all of us.

BertBox · 05/10/2018 12:22

Using the slicing disc on the food processor and shoving cucumbers and carrots though

Pulling off shellac nails 😬

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 05/10/2018 12:24

Sniffing my dog 🐕

thenightsky · 05/10/2018 12:26

Oh blimey I do this too. Also with paper serviettes in cafes/restaurants. Actually I do it with linen ones too. And sweet wrappers.

ShotsFired · 05/10/2018 12:29

The buttons on my tv remote. they ave just the right texture and pop when you press them. I sometimes just aim the end at my leg and press random buttons while I'm watching tv.

Also when you cut certain types of polythene and the scissors just glide through it.

ShotsFired · 05/10/2018 12:32

bizzers I also love the moment you get pushed back in your seat at take off

YES! The bigger and heavier the plane, the better. 747s, 380s are amazing - that enormous rumble along and the pressure as it pushes against the laws of physics.

(Although the smaller ones are like being on a mountain goat just jumping into the sky, so also good fun!)

if you ever see a grown woman just sat in her seat grinning like a loon at take off, hello!

tobee · 05/10/2018 12:33

This hasn't happened for years, but being sketched. I'm obviously a weirdo, self absorbed narcissist.
