Pulling up weeds by the root - gives me shivers. I can’t even walk past them in the street.

I also love pulling up weeds by the roots, especially ones that are in the lawn rather than a flower bed. If I had a kid free day and the weather was nice I would happily spend it in a weeding trance!

Pulling out a really long ingrown hair.

TheRealHousewife · 05/10/2018 02:53

Logs. Mine were delivered this week. The sight of them all stacked up make my heart sing Grin

youdialwetile · 05/10/2018 03:52

Testing that reflex spot on my knees shiver

LaPufalina · 05/10/2018 04:10

Peeling off nail varnish in one go
When the scissors slide through wrapping paper. I once saw a tweet saying that they assumed that's what doing heroin felt like and it made me laugh.

Pulling out nasal hair. The pain is such sweet torture

Monty27 · 05/10/2018 04:55

Buying posh food in Waitrose and taking the reduced stickers off Grin

Sweetheart1313 · 05/10/2018 04:58

Pulling the handbrake in the car without pressing the button in, I love the noise it makes!

Yessss!! To the coffee jars.

Being the first to use a jar of Marmite, nothing else matters, it has to be Marmite.

And is there anything more satisfying than managing to pull off a long strip of wallpaper?

ComeOnGordon · 05/10/2018 05:56

Coming round the corner to school and seeing my favourite car park space is free. It makes my heart sing

MissusGeneHunt · 05/10/2018 06:12

Pulling up a huge weed complete with massive Harry Potter style mandrake roots...
The crack of thunder above the house...
The final pencil stroke to a finished piece of art work..
Delightfully, squeezing a spot!!

MulberryPeony · 05/10/2018 06:25

A brand new stiff magazine.

Iputthescrewinthetuna · 05/10/2018 06:32

The smell of books. Old or new.

NashvilleQueen · 05/10/2018 06:34

Clenching my hands under slightly too hot water.

I used to enjoy changing down or up the gears in time to music. But have an automatic now.

Bimgy85 · 05/10/2018 06:37

Touching cotton buds

Certain towels feel really weird and make my body hair stand up

A certain way if I touch my nails

Conseulabananahammock · 05/10/2018 06:38

Washing the pots in water that's very very hot.

DuggeesWoggle · 05/10/2018 06:42

All you weed pullers, moppers and ironers are welcome at our house any day Grin

I get a weird frisson from pulling at my eyebrows and eyelashes and feeling a little 'ping' when one comes out. I also bite/pick at my nails. I think it's an anxiety thing.

MrsA2015 · 05/10/2018 06:43

Descaling kettles, my cream Russel Hobbs is a bit bashed on the side with a dent in the spout but the inside is a gleaming fortress of smooth, mark-free silvery perfection.

I took a pouch of oust and unleashed it on my MILs kettle that had so much build up hot drinks were like slush puppies.

Thecatmilk · 05/10/2018 06:45

gives me the fanny gallops Grin

Thecatmilk · 05/10/2018 06:46

Peeling skin from the lips. Great if it comes off in one huge section.

Donthugmeimscared · 05/10/2018 07:08

Peeling skin after sun burn. Haven't been burnt since I was a child but still remember the satisfaction.

A really hot bath.

Using those oven cleaning bags and watching the dirt run off the shelves.

Scraping the car windows.

mamansnet · 05/10/2018 07:17

Turning on a loaded dishwasher.

Washing machine's good too, but the dishwasher REALLY does it for me.

FlippinNora1 · 05/10/2018 07:22

Cleaning the vacuum cleaner out. I’ve only done it once (a few weeks ago) but I’m still thinking about it. I nail scissored all the hair off the roller bit, cleaned out the obvious bits. And then I found a small plastic flap that I didn’t realise existed! It must be a special filter thing for the nozzle. It was rammed with a solid mass of dust, hair and several bits of Lego. Pulling that out was just the best. It had a similar satisfaction to squeezing a massive blackhead Smile
And now my vac works like brand new. The sad thing is I’ll have to wait another couple of years for a really good lump to build up again Grin

TroysMammy · 05/10/2018 07:23

I have long hair and when I wash it in the shower a few loose hairs slither down my back and congregate in my bum crack. When I feel a tickle there later I love shoving my hand down the back of my trousers and pulling the long hair out from my bum.
