Pulling up weeds by the root - gives me shivers. I can’t even walk past them in the street.

OP posts:
TroysMammy · 06/10/2018 19:15

Bearbehind I considered mentioning that as I like it too. Given that I posted earlier about enjoying retrieving my long hair from my bum crack I thought I'd better not say anything more Grin.

Bearbehind · 06/10/2018 19:17

Yay - it's not just me then!

JanisJoplin73 · 06/10/2018 19:39

La Pufalina- two my my favourite things too. Also The Cure.

JanisJoplin73 · 06/10/2018 19:40

Yes Mina Paws! I love this thread.

JanisJoplin73 · 06/10/2018 19:41

Also the smell of a thunderstorm in the air before it arrives and the way the wind picks up.

When I look in my rearview mirror and both kids are asleep. I put on R4 and relax. Sometimes if I have just pulled up outside my house I just sit and enjoy the silence for a few minutes.
The following smells: Dr Beckman carpet cleaner, citrus fresh shake n vac, zoflora (but has to be linen fresh or twilight garden. Paradise Beach can fuck off).
Hot bath + clean pyjamas + clean bedding

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/10/2018 20:04

Looking at a wet fish counter.
I'm not madly keen on fish as pets
I don't eat any type of seafood
But I love looking at them set out on the ice , in suspended animation, especially mackeral . Blush

saveforthat · 06/10/2018 20:06

I'm on holiday at the moment. Love washing the sand down the plughole with the hand held shower

wallyfeatures · 06/10/2018 20:07

Lighting a match and sniffing the waft of sulfur dioxide.

Thatstheendofmytether · 06/10/2018 20:10

@EcruTable

I used to do the exact same with my dps psoriasis, he loved it. Was always getting me to pick his head. Sadlyits disapeared now 😂.

SmellyHead · 06/10/2018 20:15

Popping fuschia buds

EcruTable · 06/10/2018 20:35

Tether sorry to hear it’s gone away! My DH hates me doing it but knows that if our marriage is to survive he must allow me.

villanova · 06/10/2018 21:02

When I broke my wrist & the plaster came off, all the dead skin I could peel off my palm was amazing (the thick black hairs on my arm were gross, though).
Greyponcho, the stretchy bogey one is also a favourite of mine.

ShotsFired · 06/10/2018 21:14

ScottChegg when I look up at the stars on a clear night it makes me come over a bit strange, sort of shuddery and like I'm on the verge of bursting into tears.

You didn't once scream at a Michaelangelo status did you? Grin

I could tell from the preview line of this post that it was going to make me want to throw up. And I was right. Envy (obvs not envy)

Mummatron3000 · 06/10/2018 21:23

Riding on underground trains. Can’t help grinning as I’m descending down to the tracks, prob look like a right weirdo! (To be fair though, I don’t get to go on the underground often)

VinoBlancoPorFavor · 06/10/2018 21:29

Yes to the fanny bubbles and spot/black head squeezing ... and less grossly, yes to the star gazing!

Would like to add removing the fluffy bit of the Jaffa cake in one, or conversely, pulling out the jelly bit in one piece depending on the order of eating.
Also pulling the top of a custard cream in one piece.
And the soft bit of a twix.
...I’m on a diet, can you tell?

Oh and the sound of the chocolate cracking when you slice into a vienetta.
And on a magnum ice cream.

WoollyMollyMonkey · 06/10/2018 21:41

I love squeezing a spot or blackhead, especially satisfying when about 10x more stuff comes out than you expected.

Jonsnowsghost · 06/10/2018 21:44

Peeling scabs! Had a huge one on my elbow from being knocked over, got it all off in one go, so satisfying. Scabs are wasted on children!
Popping spots (although has scarred my face...)
As another poster, having 'my' parking space empty at work
Smelling my fluffy cat's head, smells like biscuits

WinterIsComing84 · 06/10/2018 21:44

Really excessively loud noises - like roadworks right next to me, or a train passing next to me. Always make me burst out laughing, no idea why.

flapjackfairy · 06/10/2018 21:48

I love the smell of a candle that has just been extinguished . I wish someone could make one that is just called Extinguished Candle and be done with it !

goodeyebrows · 06/10/2018 21:55

Fanny gallops just made me cry with laughter fur about 10 minutes. I could barely breathe.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 06/10/2018 22:06

Popping spots and releasing ingrowing hairs oh it’s wonderful

Pulling hair out of the plug hole I love doing this

TheYoungSharonStone · 06/10/2018 22:23

PickAChew Ooh yes, the spurting!

ChasedByBees · 06/10/2018 22:27

When I’m in a public loo and they have those loo roll dispensers that try and only let you take one sheet. I love getting as many sheets as I can in a row.

LauderSyme · 06/10/2018 22:35

I share so many of these, some have really made me laugh Smile

Smoothing out carrier bags and folding them up into neat rectangles to pack tidily together in my best small carrier bag.

Turning pillowcases and duvet covers inside out and pulling all the fluff from the corners.

On a car journey, unexpectedly driving alongside and through a very tall viaduct.

One I can't fathom: having something explained to me by someone who categorically, objectively, knows less about it than I do.
