Rules: just pick one or the other. Don't say "neither"! And don't say it should be whom not who

Theresa or Boris?

It infuriates me the way he dicked about as Foreign secretary as well. Such an important job, and he couldn't even be arsed to read his briefing notes - quite Trump like in that respect.

NameChanger22 · 04/10/2018 10:11

They're both evil. I'd eat a cat poo rather than vote for either of them.

LaurieMarlow · 04/10/2018 10:32

I agree that the 'buffoon' is a carefully constructed persona. He is much more cunning and ruthless than he lets on.

However I'm not sure how that translates into 'clear qualities' that one would want to see in a leader (or indeed a human being). All I see is naked, self serving ambition.

He's done now anyway. His little stint as foreign secretary showed his true colours. No one with a brain will trust him again.

MargaretDribble · 04/10/2018 11:18

He's allegedly very popular with the Tories. Are you suggesting they have no brains Laurie? 😜

This colour of carrot.

I think TM is utterly ruthless. Look at the way she bribed the despicable DUP to keep her in power after the GE.

If the same antics of the rich, over privileged buffoons in the Bullingdon Club had been done by poor kids off a rented housing estate they would have been arrested, brought up before the Magistrates and probably served time or been tagged. Not Boris' lot - just written off as jolly japes from jolly chappies.

StoneofDestiny · 04/10/2018 15:08

Hurricane ~ yes, indeed a despicable alliance with a bigotted sectarian political party mired in financial corruption.

Blinkingblimey · 04/10/2018 15:10

What Errolthedragon said. Theresa knows there’s no up side to Brexit but is doing her best to try and sort something to save us. Boris never believed in it in the first place.

Troels · 04/10/2018 15:21

Theresa

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 04/10/2018 22:35

I don’t think Boris is stupid at all far from it

And the act we have known for years is just that

But he is still very popular won two terms as mayor and it’s down to his popularity that Brexit is happening he made some fantastic speeches (not that I agreed with what he was saying but he certainly knows how to get people to listen and interested and obviously believe in what he is saying)

He is an extraordinary politician and one I despise but I can’t deny his impact on our politics just I think and hope his bid to be PM has come a bit too late

If he does lead the Tory party he will most certainly win the next election
