.... you lived in a block of privately rented and owned flats, you shared a drive way and one day came home to find some chalk drawings on the floor from one of your neighbours kids? Some squiggles, a stick man and a name of one of the children?

Would you speak to the parent and tell them you don't like it and please could you stop?

Would you ignore it unless it kept happening and assume the parent had dealt with it?

Would you speak to the managing agent, get them to come round, take photos of the evidence and send it to all 16 flats telling telling them how this would not be tolerated?

None of the above. I would admire the artwork and then go about my day

MrsStrowman · 02/10/2018 18:45

I'm gathering this is a reverse. It's chalk , it'll wash away when it rains

user1473878824 · 02/10/2018 18:45

I’d just ignore it however many times it happened because it really doesn’t matter.

Buddycav · 02/10/2018 18:46

Are you for real?

OnoAnotherNC · 02/10/2018 18:46

This wouldn't bother me at all with the drawings you described. Chalk nobs and obscenities would be another matter but it's their drive too and it's quite sweet no?

ConciseandNice · 02/10/2018 18:46

I’d smile, be glad it’s not swastikas and get on with my day.

Fatasfook · 02/10/2018 18:46

Is the artwork inside or outside?

waxy1 · 02/10/2018 18:46

On the floor of what?

hidinginthenightgarden · 02/10/2018 18:46

Nothing. They will wash away in the rain and I quite like to see kids playful drawings.

MaryBoBary · 02/10/2018 18:46

Christ there are some miserable people in the world if this has been reported or complained about! Also thinking this is a reverse.

MrsStrowman · 02/10/2018 18:46

Unless they've drawn a cartoon labelled neighbour at number 16 is a C*nt , personally I'd still find it amusing but can see that some wouldn't

NoArmaniNoPunani · 02/10/2018 18:46

I'd ignore it

confusedandemployed · 02/10/2018 18:47

I wouldn't do anything obviously. It's chalk.

QueenNovo · 02/10/2018 18:47

I like seeing kids pavement chalk drawings, it wouldn't bother me.

Gottagetmoving · 02/10/2018 18:47

I would ignore it. It's chalk.
We used to chalk all over the pavement when we were kids. No one was bothered unless someone drew a rude picture.

Dizzylin · 02/10/2018 18:47

It's chalk, it won't do any harm and will wash off with next rain fall. I don't get why anybody would anybody have a problem with it?

FoodGloriousFud · 02/10/2018 18:47

I wouldn't care. It's kids having fun with something none permanent!

AppleKatie · 02/10/2018 18:47

Reverse?

Do nothing obviously. Who has time in their life for this shit..

WhatchaMaCalllit · 02/10/2018 18:47

Chalk drawing on the floor or on the concrete path/driveway?
If the latter, is this a safe area for the chalk drawing to be done?
Does the child have a driveway of their own to draw on?

BabyDubsEverywhere · 02/10/2018 18:48

Whats to be dealt with? Kids have been chalking driveways/paths since chalk was invented!

Josiebloggs · 02/10/2018 18:48

This has to be a reverse. I'd hope the children had had fun, look at what they'd drawn and avoid walking through it incase it got on my shoes and through my house.

Lichtie · 02/10/2018 18:48

What Loislittslover said.

MinorRSole · 02/10/2018 18:48

They've been extremely petty by the sounds of it. How grumpy would you have to be as a person to complain about that. My dc decorate the patio every year, every year it washes off back to boring grey and I miss the rainbows and bright yellow suns.

formerbabe · 02/10/2018 18:49

I honestly wouldn't care...chalk will disappear fairly quickly with people walking over it or rain...it's hardly like they've been graffiting with a spray can Grin

C0untDucku1a · 02/10/2018 18:50

If it is not a cock and balls i would do nothing. Nothing to deal with.
