Obviously don’t know the full facts, but the photos
Show the police being pretty heavy handed.

They look Muslim, so presume don’t drink alcohol, they have regularly buy the water from other branches of Tesco.
This behaviour by the police looks like the sort of treatment meted out by racist officers towards African Americans in the US.

I am disgusted by the thuggish behaviour of the police and I hope Mr. Hussain succeeds in his complaint to the PCC.

This sort of thing makes my blood boil. The couple were being ridiculous idiots. Just go to another store if you need that much water. Well done police officer.

tillytop · 29/09/2018 17:18

Well done for taking a swipe?GinPink You're ok with paying your taxes for that?

GinPink · 29/09/2018 17:26

@tillytop I don't think he was taking a swipe. Even if he was, the couple caused it to escalate way out of hand and I think were being rude, aggressive and waiting police time over something ridiculous. I'm pissed off my taxes are being wasted on something as insane as a trolley of bloody water that they were told politely MANY a time they were not allowed to sell them. If they just shut up, accepted this and went to another store they'd have all the water they'd want by the time this video ended.

CSIblonde · 29/09/2018 17:34

Cecilyp
I didn't say they only bought water in bulk. I've seen bulk buys of tuna tins, oil, rice, choc milkshakes, baby formula, nappies, baby food & all sorts of stuff. It's the norm here as so many large families & massive houseshares. Ive never seen an empty shelf of anything so I'm not worried stuffs going to sell out. They'd probably lose 60% of their customers if bulk purchases were rigidly policed. (plus water here does taste funny, I can only drink it in half fruit juice, half water combo).

@BluebellsareBlue Thanks guessing you are you a police officer (admit I've not read the full thread) thank you, from the bottom of my heart xx

BluebellsareBlue · 29/09/2018 18:38

@GinPink no, thank you. People like you make it all worthwhile. I retired last year so I did my time so to speak. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to 'save' some people x

tillytop · 29/09/2018 18:44

Bluebells feel better now? Grin Grin Grow up, put your specs on and watch the swipe again!

The couple were being unreasonable for trying to bulk buy in a supermarket. It'd be cheaper online and someone else would carry it to the house.

tillytop it's quite obvious you have ishoos with the police service. Perhaps address those before posting bollocks online eh! Just a suggestion.

Charlie97 · 29/09/2018 18:51

@2muchtrouble watch the FUCKING video or READ the fucking thread!! The police were already in Tesco and called over by the stupid cunt who wanted the water!! He then has a long drawn out conversation wasting police time!

Either bother to read or don't comment you dumb stupid arse!!!

DeloresJaneUmbridge · 29/09/2018 18:52

Sadly police officers on the ground get no say where they are despatched. Perhaps posters should consider that before making twattish comments.

Charlie97 · 29/09/2018 18:53

@2muchtrouble the bloke resisted arrest and and assaulted an officer!

Mind you his silly bitch of a partner whilst traumatised a d screaming still made sure she videoed despite being told loads of tones to stop! They escalated it not the police!

Charlie97 · 29/09/2018 18:54

@DeloresJaneUmbridge or do the job themselves, they can do it so much better!

Twats!

Puzzledandpissedoff · 29/09/2018 18:57

can you explain to me why at least 5 police vehicles attended

Maybe when the entire footage becomes available, rather than just edited bits, the reason might be clearer

And how odd that the editing's been mentioned again and again but never once addressed by tillytop and the like ...

Charlie97 · 29/09/2018 18:57

@2muchtrouble why were they in Tesco?? Probably buying some water??? Are police now not allowed to obtain water?

Five cars because they were assaulted? Lots of questioning of witnesses? Hopefully they also arrested the blokes stupid partner too!

Charlie97 · 29/09/2018 18:59

Hold the headlines ....police officers were in Tesco idling but lunch or water!!!

@2muchtrouble

Charlie97 · 29/09/2018 18:59
