Obviously don’t know the full facts, but the photos
Show the police being pretty heavy handed.

They look Muslim, so presume don’t drink alcohol, they have regularly buy the water from other branches of Tesco.
This behaviour by the police looks like the sort of treatment meted out by racist officers towards African Americans in the US.

I am disgusted by the thuggish behaviour of the police and I hope Mr. Hussain succeeds in his complaint to the PCC.

I don't understand why ordinary members of the public are constantly being asked how they would restrain people? Are you hoping for some tips?

Because you have all the answers Tilly. You've said on many occasions how they got it wrong, and how poorly trained they are. Since you're so adamant that they were wrong, you clearly know the right way to do it.

Nicknacky · 28/09/2018 20:01

What is it you are seeing that concerns you so much? It’s a struggle with people resisting. The man has caused that and if she is a teacher then I hope she is sacked for her behaviour. The cop won’t be under any investigation at all, he was the one that was injured.

I had a bad struggle with a 15 year old that was worse than that. I came off second best with a trip to A&E and she had minor facial injuries.

tillytop · 28/09/2018 20:01

I don't need tips Think you do, if you agree with these thuggish police tactics?

Nicknacky · 28/09/2018 20:02

So give me your tips then? I’m all ears.

KlutzyDraconequus · 28/09/2018 20:02

Was Tilly there then in the Tesco when it kicked off?

There was another poster that was there too.. saying how the guy was throwing insults and that the video was heavily edited. Is that right?

I assume you were there and not basing your posts purely in a heavily edited few minute version of a much longer situation.

chillpizza · 28/09/2018 20:03

Thuggish? The police are doing their bloody job two idiots decided they wanted to kick off then resist arrest and harm a police officer.

I’m more concerned that people are buying the bullshit of innocent couple and thuggish brute force bad police.

tillytop · 28/09/2018 20:34

Tip: Leave the force if the Home Office are instructing you to behave this way.

Nicknacky · 28/09/2018 20:38

Is that really the best you can come up with? Thankfully you don’t have a clue about the type of people we come up against. Our cops recently deliberately ran someone over. That would make your head spin!

SunnyInGrimsby · 28/09/2018 20:45

I hope these 2 troublemakers get the book thrown at them. The guy was over-bearing, self-important and aggressive.

No wonder police are leaving the force when they have to waste time dealing with idiots like this and then being criticised for it.

'Book 'em Danny.

Belina · 28/09/2018 21:43

Signed the petition..I have witnessed police go off for no reason so I believe what they say absolutely disgusting

SoupDragon · 28/09/2018 21:48

🙄

Belina · 28/09/2018 21:52

The police officer punched the guy when he went to grab him. It's not editing you can see it. Why is the officer punching the guy?
The whole thing was unnecessary and the Tesco guy who started this is a jobs worth.

Nicknacky · 28/09/2018 21:56

How do you punch someone with an open hand?

The only people who started it is that half wit and his idiot partner who I’m really praying isn’t actually a teacher.

Belina · 28/09/2018 21:58

**The man involved comes across as extremely cocky thinking he's better than the security and the police officer. If you are told you can't buy something why then talk over them and be rud

Agree the guy is a cocky prick I wont lie but there was absolutely no need to touch him or punch him the officer is not at a football game in the pub he is in a professional setting at work his actions made the cocky guy act out when police are meant to calm the situation not make it worse

Belina · 28/09/2018 21:58

Nick the full video is on the metro site he punches him clearly on it

Nicknacky · 28/09/2018 22:01

It’s not a punch. It’s been discussed at length earlier in the thread. He knows he is being filmed and many people are watching, why would he punch him?

Nicknacky · 28/09/2018 22:02

Oh and you can actually punch suspects, FYI.

Lynne1Cat · 28/09/2018 22:02

Watch the video. The couple had a trolley FULL of bottled water, Tesco there said they don't allow that much and that any one customer can have 10 bottles each (so 20 bottles). The bloke was an arse, the wife was filming it all. The Tesco security very politely asked for her to stop filming - she wouldn't. The bloke still argued with Tesco staff. A policeman turned up, all polite, tried to find out the cause of bother. The bloke was still a twat.

It all ended up with the bloke getting more annoyed, more awkward. The wife was still filming. They ended up being arrested, she was screaming and being ridiculous, he was shouting and aggressive. The policeman was punched or something, in the face.

Stupid, entitled fuckers. The policeman gave them the choice to behave, they didn't, so they were arrested and will be charged. Quite right.

KlutzyDraconequus · 28/09/2018 22:04

Nick the full video is on the metro site he punches him clearly on it

Bullshit.. absolute bullshit..

The video, at around 2.40,
Shows the officer attempting to escort the man, who becomes aggressive.. the view is then blocked by a woman, a man walks past, the colours of the video mysteriously change, then you see the police.officer attempt to grab the man with an open hand. The video then cuts again to something else.
The two people that started this 'Incident' obviously had a 3rd party there ready to roll.. the whole thing is the pair of them attempting to make a racist mountain out of a non racist bull shit ant hill..

Puzzledandpissedoff · 28/09/2018 22:06

Nice touch on the signing, Belina ... considering what Haffiana told us upthread, it's good to know they'll have at least one genuine signature Wink

Atlantea · 28/09/2018 22:13

I'm not interested in a link, but what is wording of the petition? What are they asking for

KlutzyDraconequus · 28/09/2018 22:15

Here's a useful screen shot...
There's no fist.. the officer is attempting to grab the man after an incident off camera.

Couple charged with assault for trying to buy water in Rochdale Tesco
Atlantea · 28/09/2018 22:18

^A couple were denied a trolley-load of Volvic water at a Tesco store in Rochdale
Customers watched on as an officer allegedly wrestled a man to the ground
His partner was allegedly hauled to the floor and restrained by a second officer
The couple were arrested and charged with assault, according to GMP^

Found it - lots of allegations...

Puzzledandpissedoff · 28/09/2018 22:46

what is wording of the petition? What are they asking for

I'd be interested to know myself. Maybe Belina who signed it or Haffiana who had their email forged on it could tell us ...

Hateloggingin · 28/09/2018 23:03

Why has MN been invaded by such complete idiots?
