Gump from what I can see the Senate adjourns on 29 Oct and reconvenes on 13 Nov. Midterms are 6 Nov so that sounds about right. The House adjourns 15 Oct and reconvenes 13 Nov.

This is just beyond belief. To mis-quote a MN chestnut this unfortunately IS the American People's circus and those crazy elected monkeys are supposed to be well trained to do the People's will!
