To wonder how many of your children sleep with day clothes on?

I’ll admit sometimes DD 3 will be put to bed in her day clothes if she’s had a new set on not long before bed and we’ve gone out, I’ll leave her asleep rather than wake her. Is it really that terrible? If they’re clean and comfy then surely it’s ok? I know it’s not “proper” just wondered how many of you do the same sometimes ?

I do not do that. The DC's always wear PJ's. Ds1 sometimes wears shorts and t shirt but they will be clean on for bedtime.

Not exactly, but DD (12m) goes into clean clothes after her evening bath and will sometimes stay in them/parts of them if we go out the next morning. I probably wouldn't if they were visibly pyjamas, but they aren't. (Not that anyone would collapse at the sight of a 1 year old out and about in PJs, but it'd somehow bother me more.)

Only after a car journey but changing clothes to pjs is part of going to bed.

No, our days are structured around DS getting a decent bedtime routine. So unless it's something exceptional, we're home for 5.30 latest, then tea, bath, story and bed.

Even if we were out socially i'd make sure DS had a late nap and then try to make sure he stayed awake until we got home. I'd skip the bath if we was shattered but it takes nothing to change him
