Just that really

His latest biography 'Reveal' which is a fascinating insight into his character and worth a read. No-one can put him down more than he does himself. I have a lot of admiration for him, he suffers from crippling anxiety but still puts on amazing shows. His relationship with Ayda is heartwarming to read about, they really do seem to have found a soulmate in each other. I wish him all the best.

ArsenalsPlayingAtHome · 09/09/2018 08:30

He turns my stomach!

AsleepAllDay · 09/09/2018 08:31

He is a bit!

strawberrisc · 09/09/2018 08:34

He’s a massive, egotistical dick.

SuburbanRhonda · 09/09/2018 08:43

He’s in the news this morning about apparently deadnaming a transgender singer on X-Factor - wonder how that’s going to go down with the wokebros?

sweethope · 09/09/2018 08:53

£10 million is an absolute obscene amount of money. He’s already got millions, how much do some people actually want.

Juells · 09/09/2018 09:00

he used hand sanitising gel after touching people's hands at a concert.

I don't see what's strange about that. I'd wash my hands or use sanitising gel if I'd used door handles when out and about - even more so if I had to shake hands with lots of people, even though my hygiene standards are extremely low 😁

I see he's in trouble now for trying to deadname someone uk.news.yahoo.com/x-factor-viewers-criticise-robbie-williams-asking-transgender-singer-birth-name-212012111.html He won't know what hit him once the TRAs do a twitter attack.

FabulouslyGlamorousFerret · 09/09/2018 09:10

He's fine and doing quite a good job on Xfactor. I thought the favourite pub burning down comment was funny, and exactly the sort of joke my DH would make - I really can't get in a tiz about that.

His Labour videos were funny, he and Ayda obviously 'get' each other and have a lovely relationship.

amusedbush · 09/09/2018 09:10

Arrogant, mediocre-to-poor voice and a grating attitude. There’s nothing about him I enjoy.

ResistanceIsNecessary · 09/09/2018 09:11

Not fussed about him either way music-wise. As a person he seems to have grown up and his wife seems to be nice. Fame fucks adults up, so have a think about how the average 16 y/o is going to respond from being a complete unknown to having fans mob you and scream your name every time you go outside.

I use hand sanitising gel when I've been on public transport and if I've been in a conference or meeting where I've had to shake hands a lot. There was a study done by one of the Universities a while back, which showed that a quarter of UK people have faecal matter on their hands because they don't wash them - or because they have picked it up from a surface touched by someone else who doesn't wash their hands. Damn right I use hand sanitiser!!

TT were formed around GB as a singer songwriter. MO was GB’s pal. HD and JO were hired as backing dancers (have you seen them breakdance?). NMS then did an open audition for another singer/someone attractive to lure in the teen girls. (GB JO and HD were quite old and not lookers) RW ‘won’. He was only 16 so really was too young to understand what he was signing up to. He had millions of teenagers wanting to shag him and it all went to his head. He did his teen rebelling (as NMS had kept them in a very tight leash compared to all later boy bands) in public with all the drugs/oasis feud/ disappearing to Glastonbury stuff then left in a huff right before their biggest tour. He was 6 years younger than the oldest member so was at a different life stage.

He was very lucky that angels came when it did. He was on the verge of being dropped.

He’s never been a songwriter and in another life would probably have been more of a Ant McPartlin!

ArsenalsPlayingAtHome · 09/09/2018 09:54

In another life, he'd proably be working in Asda, doing amateur dramatics, and there's nothing wrong with that!

And he'd have been one of the really annoying people working in Asda, too!

If he'd have gone on X Factor as a contestant, he'd have fallen into the "It's a bit too karoke for me," comment bracket, I'd bet my life on it!

Juells · 09/09/2018 09:55

He was very lucky that angels came when it did.

I was never a TT fan, but thought that he co-wrote Angels. Ooh just googled and see that the original writer of the song signed it away to RB's management for £7500. That must hurt! 😲 I can't believe that after all the scandals over the years about artists being ripped off that that's still allowed to happen to naive songwriters.

exhaustedrundown · 09/09/2018 10:02

I like Robbie, it’d be boring if everyone was the same and like others have said he’s an entertainer love him or hate him

I always get Mark Owen and mr bloom completely muddled up

BiggerBoat1 · 09/09/2018 10:07

I bloody love Robbie. Sexy and entertaining.

sweethope · 09/09/2018 10:10

That’s what put me off him, when the bloke who wrote “Angels” never made any money out of it. Surely RW could have give him something. Meanness isn’t a nice trait.

GabsAlot · 09/09/2018 10:13

amanda im sure youre prtty too

how low can you go

treaclesoda · 09/09/2018 10:15

I bet Robbie Williams is the sort of person who says 'huh? What's that?' whenever anyone mentions someone who has a hearing problem, and then laughs at himself. He seems the type.

expatmigrant · 09/09/2018 10:15

Yes he is and always has been. Gives me the creeps

CiderBrains · 09/09/2018 10:20

"He’s never been a songwriter and in another life would probably have been more of a Ant McPartlin!"

Oh my goodness that is soooo true! GrinGrin

MadisonAvenue · 09/09/2018 10:21

Can't stand him.

PolkerrisBeach · 09/09/2018 10:23

The only AIBU is that you've not previously noticed. The man has consistently been an arse since he was 16 and in Take That first time round. He was probably an arse at school. He is the embodiment of arse. Cut him through the middle, and he'd spell arse.

And besides, why are you watching X_Factor anyway, nobody else is..

Beaverhausen · 09/09/2018 10:26

Ugh and his wife is just as bad as him. Two attention seeking assholes!

Huskylover1 · 09/09/2018 10:30

I bet he smells of Beef and Curdled Cream.

5Yearplan4000 · 09/09/2018 10:31

You all know the kind of girls at school who hung out with the kind of guys like Robbie Williams. So lame.
