Just that really

A relative of mine knew him quite well, though he never actually said anything against RW, his face spoke eloquently and we only had to listen for what wasn't said. We had some really fun conversations about the 'dear lad'.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 08/09/2018 23:58

I have met him too. He is an absolutely despicable person.

PickAChew · 08/09/2018 23:59

You only just noticed?

He's always been a great showman but a fucking idiot. Even Chris Evans called him out for the fucking idiot bit.

aperolspritzplease · 08/09/2018 23:59

Huge congratulations to them on the arrival of their new daughter too. Good work for keeping that under wraps, makes me respect them even more.

Aspenfrost · 09/09/2018 00:01

The idea of Liam Gallagher thinking he is in a position to judge someone else...

Aspenfrost · 09/09/2018 00:02

Angels is a great song.

MissHavershamssis · 09/09/2018 00:05

I admit that I haven't read the full thread but he's had a late diagnosis of ADHD - lets not forget that this is a mental health issue.

I think during his take that and the years after that he was absolutely an attention seeking, drug taking not a very nice person. I will go on to say that over the last couple of years or so, speaking out about his ADHD and how Ada has 'grounded' him he comes across as a 'nice' person. He's had some demons to face, done a lot of things that he probably regrets but he has MH issues. I think watching X factor he comes across as a lovely guy with genuine concern for the contestants - I like him :)

StorminaBcup · 09/09/2018 00:05

I can't stand him. I don't find him entertaining and his desperation for fame is really tragic. I saw a bit of X-factor by default on gogglebox and he's already wheeled out Angels in a contrived set-up in the first show. It was excruciating to watch.

MrsKiplin · 09/09/2018 00:07

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees why was he despicable?

StorminaBcup · 09/09/2018 00:08

Plenty of people have MH issues but that doesn't give them the green light to behave like massive twats Hmm

CoffeeCoffeeTea · 09/09/2018 00:09

I was never into Take That, but Robbie is the One. His life has been a mess but he is trying to grow. I like his music ( does he write it).

ActuallyAmanda · 09/09/2018 00:09

He looks like a monkey.

A monkey that is very pleased with itself.

I like his wife, she's funny.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 09/09/2018 00:10

He is annoying but I don't mind him on X Factor. I'm not keen on his wife though, she seems nice enough but a strange choice for the show. I don't think she'll be back next year.

SleepingStandingUp · 09/09/2018 00:11

Mrsmadevans me too, in Coventry. I went alone and nearly didn't, was so emotional going in (first gig alone since baby so the thought of dying even scarier. Ridiculous I know but it was pretty soon afterwards). Was very emotional the whole stadium singing Angels but with a message against Manchester bombing.

He knows he's a idiot, he's honest about not being perfect and apparently Ayda though the first birth video was funny

I thought he was auto tuned a lot.

Remember watching him one NYE where he used hand sanitising gel after touching people's hands at a concert.

MissHavershamssis · 09/09/2018 00:17

Storminateacup I disagree - MH has a huge part to play in behaviour when not diagnosed is seen as 'attention seeking' or 'extreme'

He had a late diagnosis of ADHD - my nephew has ADHD and took drugs and behaved in a horrible way sometimes - now he's on medication he's a much calmer person.

I think that Robbie is a much calmer person now and has come across really well on the X factor, showing lots of empathy towards contestants and Ada has absolutely been his rock.

There IS an excuse to behave how we wouldn't normally if you have an undiagnosed mental health condition.

HateIsNotGood · 09/09/2018 00:17

I'm sure Robbie would agree that he is a top class arse - he's been around a long time so has perfected The Art of Arseness and has done very, very well out of it too.

And he can really sing and "entertain" - which is helpful.

SoleBizzz · 09/09/2018 00:17

Has his Wife just had another baby or was it a surrogate?

SleepingStandingUp · 09/09/2018 00:20

Surrogate, inference being she struggled to carry a third pregnancy

Wow - really??? Disgusted

SoleBizzz · 09/09/2018 00:25

Thank you Sleeping Smile

PickAChew · 09/09/2018 00:25

Adhd doesn't surprise me. Self medication is very common.
