How talk are you and what do it weigh?

Trying to work out my target weight.

I know the range according to BMI but I'm too fat to visualise what say 9 stone looks like.

I'm a size 20, I was happiest in myself as a size 14 but never weighed myself back then.

I'm 5 ft 4.5 so trying to guesstimate what weight I'd be as a comfortable 14

5foot4 and size 12/14 top and a 16 bottom (big arse and hips) and weigh nearly 13 stone

ichifanny · 29/08/2018 15:07

I’m 5 ft 5 but not big made I’m size 14 at 12 stone , size 12 at 11 stone and about a size 10 at 10 stone .

Pippylou · 29/08/2018 15:12

160cm, 5' 3 and 83kg, right at the top of 14.

Big shoulders, lots of muscle, bit too fat atm, but happy!

happymummy12345 · 29/08/2018 15:15

I'm 5"7, and weigh about 10 and a half stone, give or take.
Would like to get a bit off. But it's ds's birthday next week, so it can wait until after that.

zoobud · 29/08/2018 15:16

5'8
11.5 stone

rosie1959 · 29/08/2018 15:17

I have been dieting a while and now at 5' 3"" and 11 stone I am starting to be able to wear some 14s
It's quite interesting how sizes have got bigger to wear a size 14 in my 20s I had to be around 9 stone At 7st 10 I could wear a 10 which at that time had a 22" waist

SleepingStandingUp · 29/08/2018 16:11

The thing about SW and weight is that it's how most people trying to be healthier measure their changing body. So yeah you could go to session every week and measure waist, hips and chest but in reality there's too much experimental error with different clothes changing body shapes etc.
They don't set weight for you and they don't insist it's within a set measurement

Six feet tall and 12 stone 10.
Ideally 11 stone 10.

OftenHangry · 29/08/2018 16:14

@OftenHangry you are not. It's a nice discussion

Marmite27 · 29/08/2018 16:29

I’m a 14 and 5’2”. I weigh 12st 4lb (lots of it is in my boobs Sad).

I’m aiming for 2st 11lb off, that takes me to 9st 7lb (top end of my BMI due to the aforementioned boobs) which is a size 10 for me.

ferrier · 29/08/2018 17:25

I like this visualiser because you can enter your body shape.
modelmydiet.com/

I thought this sounded like a good idea but because of the limited no of body shapes - apple, pear, hourglass - what it came up with is nothing like me - I'm straight up and down! I'll give the others a go.

Confusedbeetle · 29/08/2018 17:27

I am 5.3, 11 stone and size 14. I need to lose a stone

WhoAteAllthePercyPigs · 30/08/2018 15:51

Am 5'8" and 11.4 stone and a size 12 to 14. At my heaviest I've been 13 stone and fit into a 14 but was 16 for trousers.

I'm very happy with my weight, anything less and I'd look gaunt. It's a bit annoying though as I'm at the upper end of my BMI, could not imagine myself at 8 stone!

However, this is my post baby weight - I tend to lose a lot of weight in that first year due to breastfeeding and not drinking much. So it'll come back on in time, probably settle around 12.5 but I don't really mind.

Ffiffime · 30/08/2018 16:35

Im a 14. I’m 5’5 and I weigh 11.5 stone.
I have a tiny waist but large chest and arms and large hips.

Sunkist12 · 30/08/2018 16:37

I think it goes on body type, op. Reading previous posts, there are ladies roughly the same size as me but can be larger or smaller in clothing. For reference, I'm 5ft 6 and weigh 10.7st and I fit into a size 12. I'd say I'm a 14 when I reach the 11st Mark.

Ta1kinpeace · 30/08/2018 16:45

Have a look on here
www.height-weight-chart.com/heightweight.html
Some of the pictures are of a person losing weight,
but it gives you a decent guide of what people YOUR height look at with different weights and builds ....

SleepingStandingUp · 30/08/2018 18:21

Thanks everyone. I know I can adjust my target as I get closer but think I'm def aiming more for 11 than 10

OP posts:
Fleetwoodmac2 · 30/08/2018 18:25

5'4 and 11 stone. Was 13 stone a couple of months ago and was closer to a size 18!! 2 stone to go....

Randomusername01 · 30/08/2018 18:29

5'9 and 11st 9. Bottom heavy, so currently a size 14 on bottom and a size 12 on top.

didyouseetheflaresinthesky · 30/08/2018 18:31

About 11 and a half stone and 5 foot 7

Sallycinnamum · 30/08/2018 18:43

I'm 5ft 4.5 and weigh 11stone 4lbs and I'm a size 16. To get into a 14 I have to be 10.9 which I haven't been for a year.

This is making me wonder whether I'm wearing the wrong size though!

LondonJax · 30/08/2018 18:50

I'm 5' 2" and lost a just over a stone earlier in the year taking me from 11stone to 9 stone 12lb. I managed then to fit into a size 14. I had been buying size 16 when I was 11 stone and was beginning to think about a size 18...

I put on about 5lb since Easter (got a taste for chocolate and didn't get it under control then summer school holidays sneaked up on me!). Only one pair of my size 14 trousers allow me to breathe at the moment! The rest will fasten but I look like a sausage linked in the middle. So the 5lb has got to go.

RightyHoChaps · 31/08/2018 17:29

I'm size 14.
5'7"
10st 3lbs

I'd like to lose about 4 or 5lbs but I'm not too bothered as long as I'm fit and healthy. I value feeling better more than the scales. But the scales are a good place to start getting to a healthy weight.

Good luck OP, hope you take it easy and get where you want to Smile

Smudge100 · 31/08/2018 17:31

I‘m 5.6, 11 stone, BMI of 25.1, size 12 - 14. Had a health check at the durgery and they said i needed to lose about a stone.

Retired65 · 31/08/2018 17:32

I am 5ft 1inches tall, apple shape with a large bust (36G), weighing 10st 2.4 lbs (According to scales in Boots), size 14 trousers but wearing size 16 dresses.
