NC (name changed as I don't want this to be outing)

A rhythmless man at church has said he wants to put on a concert to raise some money for shoeless orphans. We shall call him A.

A said to B that they have money to help. B said that the last concert raised some issues but would support them none the less.

C said she didn't want to be forgotten.

Who is BU?

I would have thought it obvious to put C in charge of refreshments. A box or 2 of Sauvignon, some mince pies, easy peasy. And she'll end up covered in glory not forgotten

A can do the poster, B can do the raffle. Get all the guests to do a sing-a-long, so no need for rhythm.

Bobs your Uncle, bet you make £200+ which will go quite far in ShoeZone.

I feel like I'm in an alternate universe reading this 🤔

SassitudeandSparkle · 28/08/2018 21:19

I was convinced you were B, OP, until you said your DH doesn't attend the church.

Oakmaiden · 28/08/2018 21:21

It seems they are all being reasonable. Why do you think someone isn't reasonable?

Claw001 · 28/08/2018 21:22

Why doesn’t A just give the money and his shoes?

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/08/2018 21:23

The OP is Z! Hmm

fishandchops · 28/08/2018 21:23

A is BU he should just donate his money instead of putting it towards a concert that will probably not get any donations.

Oddcat · 28/08/2018 21:24

I don't think A's shoes will fit any of the orphans judging by the size of his organ.

CardsforKittens · 28/08/2018 21:25

A is being unreasonable. B should come up with an alternative plan, preferably involving the organ, and make sure C is included in it because C at least has rhythm.

nowayishere · 28/08/2018 21:27

To answer some questions:
We aren't asking for donations (due to disastrous mishap last time) we will be selling tickets.
They married quite young and have lots of friends in the African community.
I'm not in the alphabet.

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 28/08/2018 21:28

We need to know about the mishaps. What got donated that you didn’t want?

nowayishere · 28/08/2018 21:28

@kittens

Thanks, that's an interesting perspective.

Bluntness100 · 28/08/2018 21:29

I think I know why you're getting a hard time op.

It's clearly D And E who are unreasonable, why have you not told people about them???

amilosingitor · 28/08/2018 21:31

Heaven forbid....

I literally cannot stop laughing right now.

Stressedoutmamma · 28/08/2018 21:32

Ehhhh this makes no sense

justdontevenfuckingstart · 28/08/2018 21:32

I think F should take in some ironing seeing as T is having a hard time childminding right now because P's hobby takes up every weekend.

BatteredBitties · 28/08/2018 21:33

This is fucking brilliant 😂😂

nowayishere · 28/08/2018 21:34

Why do people keep referring to other letters on the alphabet? Clearly you are misreading the op.

I'm just going to let this go. A and B will continue the argument and c will always be on the side lines. I give up. They are all unreasonable IMHO.

WooYa · 28/08/2018 21:34

But we don't know what you want from us OP!

Claw001 · 28/08/2018 21:34

I’m speechless!

Oddcat · 28/08/2018 21:35

I'm not in the alphabet either , I much prefer the Women's Institute

Bluntness100 · 28/08/2018 21:37

Why do people keep referring to other letters on the alphabet? Clearly you are misreading the op

That's really unfair, i read the op it wasn't that long and I know about D and E. You need to tell people.

It's not right otherwise, think of the cat. You need to think of the cat.

Oddcat · 28/08/2018 21:38

WooYa isn't it obvious ? May I suggest you rtft

sidesplittinglol · 28/08/2018 21:38

Oh my I've never laughed so much in my life. Thanks OP! Smile
