Just that really.... inspired by the recent sticker campaign.... "Women can't have penises" and "Some women have penises"....

Simple question - simple answer.

Me - Yes, I believe women can't have penises.

Of course a woman doesn't have a penis. Never has done, never will.

It's bizarre, BertrandRussell. Rationally - or at least physically - transwomen have far more to fear from men, just as gay or any other gender nonconforming men do. And yet they hate women rather than men and their real rage is directed at disobedient women aka feminists.

I should perhaps clarify that I'm referring to the trans rights activists who attack feminists in terms that suggest it's us who pose a physical threat to transwomen. I'm not talking about transwomen who treat us with respect, like the delightful Miranda Yardley or Debbie Hayton.

There are so many amazing posts on this thread, so many strong women.

How Miranda Yardley and others have been treated by people purporting to represent their community is absolutely disgusting.

Does Miranda Yardley even call himself a transwoman any more? (I know he’s clear about using male pronouns before the vexatious reporters leap the fuck all over this ). I’m trying to be cautious about overly celebrating male allies, but MY is pretty great.

The weird thing is, despite Miranda Yardley fully accepting he is a male, I kinda see him as a her iyswim.
Exceptional person, no matter what sex though. It takes true grit to stand up to the kind of bullying and intimidation that he has.

Yeah I see Miranda as a she, she’s socially transitioned as much as it’s possible to do. I’ve never felt any hint of Male entitlement from her and seems to be every bit as appalled at the safeguarding implications for children as I am.

Amusingly in my travels around the net I came across a young woman who didn’t believe ‘Miranda used to be a dude, no way’ not in a TWAW way but just hasn’t realised, very funny.

Of course women don't have penises. I know this as surely as I know that the earth is round and orbits the sun. Biology is real.

Women with girl children in schools and youth organisations, including girl guides, need to be aware that those children are now being marginalised and in some cases endangered by the need to favour boy children's every whim and feel over their physical safety. Not that schools were ever great for girls, but the concept of safeguarding is being undermined too.

It is as simple as that... men's feelings are being put before women and girls' safety......

And on a personal note, it makes me so angry how men "coming out as trans" are hailed as brave and courageous... when the courageous thing to do would be to be expanding the bandwidth of being a MAN..... We have waited so very long for this and so few men take on this challenge.

Yes the safety, dignity and comfort of women and girls is being thrown out, all that hard work on boundaries, consent and the ability to say no and have it heard and acted upon is just being completely trashed in order to validate the feelings of men. Women and girls must not only welcome but positively encourage this brave new order or be subject to some kind of sinister North Korean style re-education.
