Why?

I wonder how much "airing" happens under a duvet?
I wonder this too, if you want to 'air' your fanjo then at least have the decency to actually give it fresh air...

Sparklingbrook · 25/08/2018 19:42

What happens if you don't air it?

Not a clue. My guess would be nothing at all though.

sonlypuppyfat · 25/08/2018 19:43

Nice long nightie in the winter, nothing in summer. If I'm wearing a dress in the house I won't wear knickers then either

DwangelaForever · 25/08/2018 19:44

I wear pjs but go commando underneath, only exception is when I'm on my period. Not a fan of nighties but I've worn pants with them when I've worn them in the past!

Sparklingbrook · 25/08/2018 19:45

Presumably wearing pyjamas is a no no due to no 'airing' occurring?

WorldCupnovice · 25/08/2018 19:45

I agree with Diddl. As a child I never wore pants in bed as my granny told me that I needed to 'air my nether regions', so I just wore a nightie/pyjamas. Now I just wear pants and nothing else. Don't think your bottom could get much of an airing under sheets or duvet. I think that we should all agree that it is down to personal choice, nobody is right or wrong.

Ohyesiam · 25/08/2018 19:45

Ooh pants in bed. No air for your foofShock

Branleuse · 25/08/2018 19:46

i wear pants in bed as then I can get more days out of my pyjama bottoms.

SeptimusQuench · 25/08/2018 19:46

I think that’s the point Sparkling Grin

It’s not a TAAT, but inspired by the most recent incarnation of the shoes on / off debate.

SleightOfMind · 25/08/2018 19:47

I only ever wear pants with short skirts.
I only own 4 pairs, 2 of which are shaper things.

No idea why women wear them. Uncomfortable and so bad for you.

stillnotTheDoctor · 25/08/2018 19:47

I assumed this had been inspired by the sex towel thread 😂

Usually no knickers.

But I change the bedding regularly and shower in the evening. I do however wear socks (unless it's summer/very warm). Have also worn a beanie and mitts in winter. (Or even better, socks as mitts. They have no thumb and it's extra warm...Grin)

Sparklingbrook · 25/08/2018 19:49

Oh. I saw there was a shoes on/off thread. It must have been a whole week or so since the last one. Grin

stillnotTheDoctor · 25/08/2018 19:49

Tbh the loo brush threads are better Grin

MysteriousQuinn · 25/08/2018 19:51

The only times I don't have pants on is when I'm in the bath/shower or when I'm having sex. No specific reason, just habit. I feel really odd without pants on Grin

MeyMary · 25/08/2018 19:52

I would be rather worried about sunburn, tbh Wink

I have however given my fanjo quite a lot of fresh air. Also water (when swimming)...

ILoveAllRainbows · 25/08/2018 19:55

I wear a t-shirt and pants.

I don't know how people wear nighties as I am forever trying to straighten them out underneath me.

mostdays · 25/08/2018 19:56

I don't, it's uncomfortable and gives me thrush. Mind you I can get thrush from having a bubble bath so I doubt most people find knickers in bed similarly problematic.

Nothisispatrick · 25/08/2018 19:56

There was a long thread about this a while back. I still don’t understand why some fanjos need to ‘air’ or ‘breathe’.

derxa · 25/08/2018 19:56

Swing your pants

EdWinchester · 25/08/2018 20:02

We sleep naked.

Yerroblemom1923 · 25/08/2018 20:02

I wear a cotton nightie/t-shirt in summer and pjs in winter. No knickers. But surely it's important to wear SOMETHING in bed in case you need to exit the house quickly e.g. a fire!

Sandstormbrewing · 25/08/2018 20:04

I get thrush if I do. Can't even wear pjs!

Sandstormbrewing · 25/08/2018 20:06

mostdays I think we have kindred fannies! Out of interest, have you ever had your thyroid checked? My thrush incidents cleared up massively after I got treated for an underactive thyroid.

MeyMary · 25/08/2018 20:07

Why? Clothes wouldn't be my priority (or anything I'd be particularly concerned about...) when fleeing a burning house.
