Don't get me wrong she seems like a lovely lady and does have some useful tips but AIBU to think she cleans alot and often. As a single mum I don't hardly have anytime during the day to do this amount of cleaning! Now it's making me feel bad that I don't clean this much 😂

And maybe google what 'critical thinking' means.

Start with googling "thinking"... might be more sensible.

Mytype · 18/09/2018 12:25

I’m far from dense thank you, I have a masters degree but thanks for your concern. And I know what critical thinking means but my point is when the person being talked about has come on here and asked to be left alone and you lot carry on that is bullying and it is wrong!

Mytype · 18/09/2018 12:25

I couldn’t care less what people say about the way I post it just means they are avoiding what I actually posted 😉

rainbowsandsmiles · 18/09/2018 12:27

Mytype -I wouldn't worry, that kind of comment says far more about some of the posters on here than you.

Mytype · 18/09/2018 12:30

Exactly it really does. Shows their true colours.

Skyejuly · 18/09/2018 12:47

Actually I do think sustainable plastic use IS a problem.

Mytype · 18/09/2018 13:24

Skyejuly good for you! I’m glad you do Hmm

rainbowsandsmiles · 18/09/2018 14:03

Yes, skyejuly, so do I. Good for you too!

OkMaybeNot · 18/09/2018 14:53

MN can we get a [cringe] emoticon?

It would be really useful for threads like these.

rainbowsandsmiles · 18/09/2018 15:22

If you're cringing, it's obviously not to your taste which is fair enough, each to their own. Lots of other threads you'd maybe find less cringey?

WhatsGoingOnEh · 18/09/2018 15:51

Glad to see Mrs Hinch posting again! The less she posts, the less I clean.

rainbowsandsmiles · 18/09/2018 15:54

WhatsGoingOn - same Grin bought some of that Pink Stuff today for the first time, looking forward to trying it out! Hope it's good stuff.

Sugarformyhoney · 18/09/2018 16:01

😂😂😂 love this comment.
I’m a bit confused by the pathetic and sad lives claims.. It seems to me a little strange and time consuming to log onto mumsnet to defend a total stranger.

Sugarformyhoney · 18/09/2018 16:02

The comment about critical thinking I meant! Can’t quote for some reason

mrsoutnumbered · 18/09/2018 16:02

She's obviously doing something right if she has 500k followers! Good for her, I hope she has an agent so she can make some money out of it.

Her house and the way she cleans is not to my style, that's why I don't follow her. But each to their own.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 18/09/2018 16:16

@rainbowsandsmiles The Pink Stuff is good! But wear gloves. It ages your hands by about 300 years.

I used it on my sink as I'm stubbornly resisting buying the Stainless Steel Cleaner at the moment (I don't know why). It's good.

OkMaybeNot · 18/09/2018 16:25

If you're not enjoying my comment about cringing, it's obviously not to your taste which is fair enough, each to their own. Lots of other comments you'd maybe find less objectionable?

Wink
rainbowsandsmiles · 18/09/2018 16:28

OkMaybeNot - oooooookay Confused

squiz81 · 18/09/2018 18:52

@mtype your inability to grasp the basic and sensible points being made to you makes me think you've been inhaling zoflora cocktails for much longer than Mrs H has been on IG.

Mytype · 18/09/2018 19:22

Oh your hilarious! Nearly dropped my dave then!

WhatsGoingOnEh · 18/09/2018 19:36

*you're

Quite surprised that basic word never came up during your "masters degree", to be honest.

GuavaPalava · 18/09/2018 19:41

@WhatsGoingOnEh 😀

Mytype · 18/09/2018 19:42

I left that especially for you...it was a test. Well done you passed!!

HildaZelda · 18/09/2018 22:40

I'm following Mrs Hinch but I prefer Lynsey Queen of clean to be honest.

GulagMilkMonitor · 19/09/2018 01:06

Honestly girls

The misogyny with the Hinch Army is strong!
I think Mrs Hinch is fine, she seems a good egg but her fan base are...I’ll follow the polite description above “hard or critical thinking”.
Why on earth would it be A Bad Thing/bullying to suggest that a person with a huge following and apparently massive sway not suggest spraying around mixes of toxic substances that 1.) can set their homes on fire 2.) cause some very serious health issues from chemical burns, irritations, allergic reactions, respiratory problems, vision issues?

Just because you like someone doesn’t mean they should be free from valid, thought out criticism to suggest otherwise isn’t a great look.
