Don't get me wrong she seems like a lovely lady and does have some useful tips but AIBU to think she cleans alot and often. As a single mum I don't hardly have anytime during the day to do this amount of cleaning! Now it's making me feel bad that I don't clean this much 😂

What a snooty comment (re B&M)

I thought so too, nothing wrong at all with B and M even if she had and it came across very snotty/uppity!

gimmecake · 18/09/2018 00:14

“Around so many chemicals?” It’s not a nuclear plantation Jeez we are talking about a few bottles of disinfectant!! - for starters she’s not going to bath them in the stuff is she? I’d like to think she’d put child locks on the cupboards like everyone else does...

Her house is spotlessly clean. I imagine she’d take the same precautions as anyone else would around children if she had them and discover Milton and Dettox - but she doesn’t so for now she doesn’t need a child friendly house!! To say your “glad she hasn’t got kids” is pure sanctimonious, bitchy nastiness IMHO Angry

Yeah .. I’d totally avoid inviting her round for a coffee and a pot noodle - for fear of my taste in decor not being up to her high standards!!

rainbowsandsmiles · 18/09/2018 00:18

Cleaning your house with cleaning products won't do much harm to children, what an over-reaction.
Plenty of parents with kids do every day and they'll do what works for them and exercise caution, people aren't daft. Well, most aren't anyway lol.

rainbowsandsmiles · 18/09/2018 00:23

The B and M near us has some lovely stuff in, there's some nice cushions and throws for example Smile

I'm just glad I don't know anyone so judgy in RL as there are some on here.(At least I don't think I do/hope they're not inside, anyway!)

Sugarformyhoney · 18/09/2018 07:08

Sorry I actually meant I’m glad she hasht got children in the house re the chemicals, not that I’m glad she hasn’t got children at all. Apologies if it came across like that.
I do think chemicals are very harmful to health.

Sugarformyhoney · 18/09/2018 07:12

Re judgement of people who use B&M. Literally don’t care where people shop but personally I don’t like shops like B&M- not because they’re cheap. I love markets, up cycling and freebies. I just think the stuff in there is tacky.

GulagMilkMonitor · 18/09/2018 07:18

I do think chemicals are very harmful to health.

See, I agree about overuse or mixing of an abundance of toxic or harmful chemicals and substances (and single use plastics) but that statement is ridiculous.

Sugarformyhoney · 18/09/2018 07:21

But she does mix several chemical in her cleaning regimes-some of which have cause a flammable mix etc. That is not healthy.
I don’t think the odd bit of fairy liquid or bleach will kill anyone but what she uses would make my eyes burn, let alone a child’s.

Skyejuly · 18/09/2018 07:23

I worry about long term. Sure you might be ok now but I am betting this will have a long term health effect if used like that daily x

GulagMilkMonitor · 18/09/2018 07:29

But I do think chemicals are very harmful to health is a bizarre thing to say unless you live in a bubble with no oxygen, water etc.

GulagMilkMonitor · 18/09/2018 07:31

And to add I fully agree with this I don’t think the odd bit of fairy liquid or bleach will kill anyone but what she uses would make my eyes burn.

I would have an asthma attack in her house. I was pleased to see the bi carb and vinegar/soda crystals element of her This Morning piece.

Sugarformyhoney · 18/09/2018 07:33

Sorry should have specified cleaning chemicals

lifechangesforever · 18/09/2018 07:36

I really don't understand why people have such an opinion of her.. if you like watching people clean then do it, if you don't then don't follow her?

For me, she's given me a give up the backside to get my house properly clean and keep up to it! My house was always clean and tidy on the surface, now it's properly clean. Zoflora isn't exactly a new phenomenon though.

Also, I wish people would stop commenting on the fact she doesn't have children.. what difference does that make? I have a baby and 2 dogs, still manage to clean everyday. It's what's important to ME, I know others don't feel the same and that's fine - Mrs Hinch isn't for them.

HidingFromMyKids · 18/09/2018 07:43

I've never heard of this woman until I caught her on this morning.

Are we sure she doesn't have children, maybe just not mentioning them so they will be kept out of the spot light? That's what I'd do.

Anyway I can confirm, that after renting a house for a short term let that had white worktops, the pink stuff is amazing.

The owners left a little note that said don't worry what you spill use 'the pink stuff' in the cupboard. I made a mess, I was sceptical but wow. Smile

LuckyAmy1986 · 18/09/2018 08:23

I had never heard of her until I watched her on this morning and she seemed perfectly nice and her home looks nice also, I wish her all the best.
What I don’t get is the “oh my god I absolutely LOVE her” type comments. Really?! It’s like the naive teenagers that follow Zoella and the likes obsessively. There’s really nothing that special about them - or am I missing something?

OkMaybeNot · 18/09/2018 08:51

It’s like the naive teenagers that follow Zoella

That's pretty much it.

theWarOnPeace · 18/09/2018 09:18

I don’t like her account, and don’t follow (before anyone says don’t follow then!). I had a look when people started to @ her and she seems like a kind person, but I strongly disagree with her output. I don’t like this pushing of constantly cleaning and smothering your house in strong chemicals, as some kind of aspirational thing to do. All of this “come on ladies, let’s get our sinks gleaming” talk is just awful, and the complete opposite of inspiring to me. Fair enough have tips or suggestions, my house is pretty clean and it can be handy to get ideas for reducing time doing it etc etc, but to boast of cleaning all day when your house is soulless and empty is just sad. Coming back to a clean house after being out, and then being thrilled to stick a mixture of chemicals into your toilet is absolutely bonkers! There is nothing inspiring about her for me, and the plain grey house with all the tacky stuff everywhere is just blah. Anyone could go out and buy a load of cheap grey tat from generic shops, stick ‘inspirational’ quotes on the wall, and slop zoflora everywhere, but why would they? No personality in that mega clean box.

PaddysMarket · 18/09/2018 09:25

These prices are crazy, I can't believe people are willing to pay this for £1 tub of pink stuff and probably a couple of ££'s for the sponge.

I wish she'd post some more cleaning stories! I'm glad she's enjoying her lovely success, and that's obviously going to be taking all her attention just now.... But for me, nothing beats the sight of her hand down a bog. 👍🏻 😆

WhatsGoingOnEh · 18/09/2018 09:28

I literally love how she's literally just posted a story making fun of herself for literally using the word "literally" so much on tv yesterday. 😃 You can't help but love her personality.

OkMaybeNot · 18/09/2018 09:30

Oh my god, people are ebaying this shit now?

£25. Do they realise it's just fucking cleaning spray and a sponge?

Is cleaning your house a craze now, then? Like fucking Fortnite for grown arse women?

It's funn how we aren't seeing any men getting involved in this craze isn't it.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 18/09/2018 09:39

It's funn how we aren't seeing any men getting involved in this craze isn't it.

If you share your home with a lazy bloke, I'm sure you'd be annoyed. But if cleaning is something you do because it makes YOU happy, then I don't see how men and men's interests come into it.

PaddysMarket · 18/09/2018 10:38

This Morning is going to have Mrs Hinch in as a regular cleaning guru.

GrimSqueaker · 18/09/2018 10:45

This Morning is going to have Mrs Hinch in as a regular cleaning guru.

That cannot be a sustainable content slot surely? There are only so many ways you can clean your flipping toilet, only so many stains on clothing even MY children can manage to generate and only so many tenuous uses you can generate for the EU Zoflora mountain.
