Don't get me wrong she seems like a lovely lady and does have some useful tips but AIBU to think she cleans alot and often. As a single mum I don't hardly have anytime during the day to do this amount of cleaning! Now it's making me feel bad that I don't clean this much 😂

And I'm not a mum

WhatsthematteryouHEY · 07/09/2018 16:30

It’s not slanderous either 🙄

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 07/09/2018 16:38

So it’s fine to have opinions as long as they’re ‘nice’?

I personally don’t like her taste in home decor. That’s my opinion. Am I ‘slating’ her home?

She’s a person in the public eye now. She’s put herself out there. I hope she does very well she seems a good laugh but she will not be to everyone’s taste. There will be negative opinions. If that’s something she can’t handle she may well want to deescalate her media involvement now.

Pamdoo · 07/09/2018 16:49

FYI it is possible to have a clean tidy house with children so stop using your kids as an excuse to live in a pig sty 😂

Again with the assumptions Hmm again the hinch army can't voice a valid argument without being spiteful or nasty. You say it's cruel to make comments about her home, but it's fine for you to do it about others?

FYI I do have a clean home, I always have, and I don't really care if someone choses not to. Mrs hinch didn't make me do it either

rainbowsandsmiles · 07/09/2018 16:57

I've cleaned my loo today,
#MrsHinchMadeMeDoIt

Skyejuly · 07/09/2018 17:15

Am I in the 1950s?!

rainbowsandsmiles · 07/09/2018 17:17

Hey, if she can motivate me to get off my ass and clean, I'm all for her. #HinchysArmy new recruit lol

MrsMotherHen · 07/09/2018 17:20

am all for motivation and stuff but how does an instagram page make you get up and do something I dont get it Confused

Yetlo71 · 07/09/2018 17:23

Remember ya all adults , ya don't have to watch her videos or follow her on Insta , you don't have to use all the cleaning stuff she does
I love her and made me get my arse in gear , but I don't buy all her cleaning stuff
We all have different taste in design and #mrshinch has her , wouldn't we be boring if we all liked the same things
No need to put ppl down and watch how you word things so they don't sound hurtful !!!
Enjoy the rest of your day ladies 😁

rainbowsandsmiles · 07/09/2018 17:24

It's the stories rather than the pictures. Her singing, talking you through, something addictive about watching it Grin

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 07/09/2018 17:25

What's with the hashtags y'all?

WhatsGoingOnEh · 07/09/2018 17:26

I'd never heard of MrsHinch before this. I'm now a follower. She's brilliant!

But - mixing cleaning products can be fatal. The chemicals mix together and cause a poisonous gas to be released. The FlyLady author is really strict/vocal on that as it killed one of her friends.

But otherwise, I LOVD her. My DH just rang from the supermarket asking if we needed anything and I told him to get Zoflora. 🤣

rainbowsandsmiles · 07/09/2018 17:29

Yes, must admit I'm not so keen on the idea of mixing products, so won't be doing that one. The hashtags are genius, will make everyone follow and find her more!

Rosegoldlilly · 07/09/2018 17:30

Like I've stated my OP wasn't nasty. What I do find horrible is this so called #hincharmy ramming their opinions down people's throats and saying we can't have an opinion other than a good one. Seriously you don't know her why do you feel the need to worship her and then troll people if they have a slight disagreement.

Get a life

WhatsGoingOn - told you - addictive! Grin

Yetlo71 · 07/09/2018 18:00

I don't ram it down ppls throat , I find her funny , I follow littlemissmops , she has fab cleaning tips , but it's each to there own ... Like I said if ya don't like don't follow or watch , simples!!!!

Twittwootoo · 07/09/2018 18:31

Just taken a peek at her account. I just don’t believe that she lives in that house! I am house proud and I do keep on top of cleaning but I just don’t understand where her actual belongings are? And she has a kid?

I mean don’t get me wrong, it has inspired me to clean Grin I just think it is another example of an unrealistic life. Good luck to her, she is probably making money off all the product placement!

cleanmad · 07/09/2018 18:50

Twittwootoo - she doesn’t have a child. Her belongings are organised into the storage where she likes them. even if she had children. It’s still possible to have a home that looks like that.

They worked hard for that home. And if you watched her lives or videos you would see it’s very much lived in.

cleanmad · 07/09/2018 18:51

Rosegoldlily “get a life” you created this dumb thread running someone down because you don’t have a home like hers.

Think it’s you that needs a life sweetie.

Brendatheblender · 07/09/2018 18:56

I really like her, she comes across as a lovely lady. She has motivated me to keep on top of my house better. I do try to keep waste to a minimum and never buy wipes but that’s my choice, she isn’t forcing anyone to do or buy anything that they don’t want to.

If you’re reading this Mrs Hinch, keep doing what you’re doing, you’re great and Henry is too cute m.

Twittwootoo · 07/09/2018 19:03

Cleanmad- I will take your word for it! I’m sure they have worked hard for their home, as do most of us.

I would be interested to know how often she redecorated? Much of the “clean” looks like brand new items? As I say, I clean a lot. Properly too, limescale in my area can leave a mark within days so I have no choice. However even my newly decorated rooms look “normal” and lived in within a couple of months. I often find myself wiping down cupboard doors, wiping finger prints off walls etc but it never looks show home new like hers... what am I missing?

Pamdoo · 07/09/2018 19:08

Twittwootoo you're missing Instagram filters! Grin

WhatsthematteryouHEY · 07/09/2018 19:12

I'm curious how she fits it all in around her job. What kind of job does she do? Surely she doesn't stay at home cleaning all day? She must leave the house sometimes?

Twittwootoo · 07/09/2018 19:14

Pamdoo- Yes! Something I can quickly change haha!

JessicaPeach · 07/09/2018 19:15

Her house is a new build Twit, she just keeps it realllllly clean. My house is old, it would never look like hers no matter how much I tried. I always think it must be lovely to live in a new build!
