Not really AIBU, posting for traffic.
Just the title really, what's your Dragons Den idea, light hearted...,

Mine is a machine that can make any colour nail polish (so u can match it up to outfits), u would just scan the items and it would make that colour, like the machine at BnQ.

Yay i guessed it! That's amazing.. theyre amazing!!

MsHopey · 22/08/2018 07:17

@Flashingbeacon
Similar to mine.
I keep thinking of sheet suspenders.
Double size sheets keeps pinging off my mattress because they're too tight, king size keep pulling off because they're not tight enough to stay in place.
I need 2 long suspenders with the metal grips on to attach to the corner of the sheet under the mattress, and attach it to the opposite diagonal corner. Tighten the suspender. Repeat on the opposite side. It'll make a big cross and keep my sheet tightly in place.
Sick of it rolling down at night and wrinkling under me and being uncomfy. EVERY NIGHT!

TroysMammy · 22/08/2018 07:21

A rain sensor on a rotary clothes line which would unfurl a large umbrella/cover over your clothes so they won't get any wetter when you're out. It would also keep you dry if you want to bring the clothes in when it's raining so you're not running around like a mad thing unpegging the clothes.

TroysMammy · 22/08/2018 07:23

A map on a bus stop which lights up each time the bus passes bus stops before yours. You know that the bus is on it's way and where it is.

abbsisspartacus · 22/08/2018 07:29

I think the baby shovel needs a bit of a rebrand it's not the best name 😂

FlapAttack23 · 22/08/2018 08:33

Something like this for baby shovel but on bigger scale...

What's your Dragons Den idea?
Mistoffelees · 22/08/2018 09:36

@MsHopey you mean something like this? tinyurl.com/y9oxe6sq
My invention would be an app so that you can point your phone's camera at the TV when there's an actor you don't know and it will tell you who they are and link to IMDB so you know what else they've been in, like Shazam but for actors. It would be called "What's that guy from?"

puzzledlady · 22/08/2018 09:42

James / I have about 10 of those hahahahaha.

placemats · 22/08/2018 09:56

MissHopey Extra deep fitted sheets are your answer.

I really like your ideas TroysMammy The umbrella could also be used when there is too much sunshine.

I would love to see beauty salons in motorway service stations.

BikeRunSki · 22/08/2018 09:58

James - you're right, we have 3!

SendYouUpInFlames · 22/08/2018 10:00

@troysmammy that idea is great. It seriously is an amazing idea. It would help so much.

SnugglySnerd · 22/08/2018 10:00

A toddler vice (I need to work on the name). It would hold toddlers firmly but gently in position whilst their parents perform actions like changing nappies, brushing teeth or cutting nails.

Mamamiaherewegoagainmymy · 22/08/2018 10:02

See saw and roundabout pusher too!

ThanksHunkyJesus · 22/08/2018 10:03

A tablet that you can take daily to give you full UVA/UVB protection so you don't have to fanny about with sun cream.

LaDaronne · 22/08/2018 10:05

Trunkis could only have been invented by a man. A woman would have known you're going to end up carrying that shit.

Finfintytint · 22/08/2018 10:06

Some sort of blow dryer fitted around your back door that instantly dries your dog after a walk. I rejected my prototype dog tumble dryer.

Mamamiaherewegoagainmymy · 22/08/2018 10:08

A tantrum stopper! For baby's children and adults - stop a tantrum in its tracks!

Also an app that tracks your mood for when it's PMT time / you're feeling down etc - orders you a takeaway / chocolate ) wine / flowers ) takeaway whatever - hmmm maybe I'm getting carried away here

ArmySal · 22/08/2018 10:11

Tangle teasers are great, I have 2. Very good invention.

Mamamiaherewegoagainmymy · 22/08/2018 10:12

And a non removable tracker/ chip that can stop dangerous drivers / stolen cars { (would need to be only used by the police )and ) I'm on a roll here ) something that tells the police if the car / driver matches the ViN ( as numberplares can be cloned )

Bujinkhal · 22/08/2018 10:14

My dad invented the security code radio, though it wasn't actually designed specifically for radios it was for any electrical device. Remove the power you need to punch a code in to make it work again.

He's never seen a penny for it, the company that "borrowed" the idea, apparently it would have taken hundreds of thousands to take them to court and he wasn't prepared to risk everything.

If I ever win the lottery that court case is happening.

Not dragons den obviously but an invention non the less.

SignOnTheWindow · 22/08/2018 10:21

When my DD was younger, I wanted a little top with handles on the back so that when she was being a PTA, I could just pick her up off the supermarket floor and carry her like a handbag while she flailed around having a tantrum.

SignOnTheWindow · 22/08/2018 10:21

PITA not PTA

SignOnTheWindow · 22/08/2018 10:22

A light-up, sensor activated "You're too close" sign for the rear window of my car.

tuckingfypo · 22/08/2018 10:23

@JamesDelayneysTattoos your cousin is to blame for my high maintenance 5 year old who won't have her hair brushed by anything other than her tangle teezer (stop losing the bloody thing then, child!!)

Could you please ask him to invent one with longer bristles for thick hair as it just brushes the surface off mine (and tell him to reduce the price, I'm poor 😂)

MsHopey · 22/08/2018 10:26

#Mistoffelees
What?!?!!? Someone stole my invention 😭
I guess I'm just not quick enough off the mark.
