WIBU to ask for more chips?

We were supposed to be having salad tonight for tea but I —accidentally— ate most of the baby plum tomatoes this morning, so my penance was to pick up a chippy tea on the way home. It wasn’t busy, only one person in being detected when I got there. I ordered a fish butty for DP and a chip butty for me (no kids). I paid £6 all together (live in Yorkshire) and this is all I got!!

The chippy is local, and usually much more generous than this.

Was I being unreasonable to drive back to the chippy, via the bloody temporary traffic lights to ask where the rest of my chips were?

@DoubleNegativePanda

Get a couple of slabs of lard and heat in a deep pan.
Get some potatoes and cut them in to thick chunky chips.
Fry the chips in the lard until they are golden.
Take a roll and butter it thickly with real salted butter.
Put your hot chips in the buttery roll and add white onion vinegar & salt.
Add ketchup if required.
let the butter, vinegar & salt meld for as long as you can stand.
Eat and savour.

You're welcome.

Sorry to say but you were robbed. Down here in Cardiff you would have had more chips than that for £1.20. I wouldn't be going back to that chippy.
I swear fast food is meant to be cheaper up north.
