Can I ask, which famous person do you get told you look like?

Some friends were over at the weekend. Their kids love Mrs Doubtfire and had watched it again recently. They told me how much I look like the mum character in the film, Sally Field . My son-in-law then piped up and said "Yeah I thought that too when I first met you". I can't see it myself but it could have been worse (thank the lord they didn't think I look like Robin Williams in drag!).

Can I ask who you get told you look like and whether you're happy with the comparison?

Kelly Brook. We are the same height and everything. I've been asked for autographs and even a photo once!! Slightly embarrassing as I'm pretty shy.

DH is often told he looks like Brian Cox. Without the weird lips thankfully. I have never been told I look like a celebrity at all! I think people who look like me don't become celebrities .

I'm repeatedly told I look like Anne Hathaway . I can see a resemblance but it's much like when you see a celeb's less attractive, heavier sibling

Children say I look like Elsa from Frozen, but that's only because I sometimes wear my (long, blonde) hair in a side braid.

From adults, I have had the mermaid from Splash (Darryl Hannah when she was young). The film was a bit before my time, so I had to look her up. I've also had Asdis Ran (some Icelandic woman) - again I'd never heard of her and had to look her up. So not really that famous then after all!

I do have a swept to the side fringe but my hair is shoulder length. Someone I once liked a lot liked this image which I used as an avatar. That pleased me. I miss him.
