Can I ask, which famous person do you get told you look like?

Some friends were over at the weekend. Their kids love Mrs Doubtfire and had watched it again recently. They told me how much I look like the mum character in the film, Sally Field . My son-in-law then piped up and said "Yeah I thought that too when I first met you". I can't see it myself but it could have been worse (thank the lord they didn't think I look like Robin Williams in drag!).

Can I ask who you get told you look like and whether you're happy with the comparison?

My DH looks a bit like Vic Reeves. We ate in the same restaurant as him a few years ago, and there was a comedy double take moment, but neither said anything. DH is about a foot taller though, VR is quite short in real life.

My husband was told he looked like the Candian Prime minister Mahoney.(His grandsons were pageboys at the Royal Wedding) A few years ago now. It certainly explained why he got stared at when on the subway. Also once a woman ran out of a shop when we were shopping thinking he was the Prime minister. Not sure who they thought I was maybe I was the cause of some tabloid gossip
