Can I ask, which famous person do you get told you look like?

Some friends were over at the weekend. Their kids love Mrs Doubtfire and had watched it again recently. They told me how much I look like the mum character in the film, Sally Field . My son-in-law then piped up and said "Yeah I thought that too when I first met you". I can't see it myself but it could have been worse (thank the lord they didn't think I look like Robin Williams in drag!).

Can I ask who you get told you look like and whether you're happy with the comparison?

When I was younger, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn - I think it had more to do with my frame and the way I dressed, tbh. (And also - as someone else said - I think all dark haired, skinny girls with largish noses get likened to AH.)

I’ve been told this and I’m skinny, dark haired with a large straight nose lol so I agree.

Ingrid Bergman, Renee Zellweger and Ally Sheedy were all mentioned when I was young. I have recently been told Holly Willoughby, rather to my middle-aged delight. I truly don’t think I look like any of them.

Well I can beat all of you because when I was 18 my friend told me I looked like a young John Cleese.

I am female.

He showed me the picture that sparked the comparison and to be fair, he was right.

In my salad days I was often told that I looked like a young Liz Taylor. Now in my 40s, I’m three stone heavier with several children and one too many wrinkles. Wish I was still told that I looked like Liz 😄

I've been told I resemble Helen Mirren - more than once - I'm just never sure if they mean her when she was my age or that I look like I'm in my seventies!

Back in the 90s I was told I looked like Stephanie Seymour or Paulina Porizkova, but these days I don't look like anybody.
