Condoms in online grocery ‘favourites’ - AIBU to think DP is cheating?

I’ve just done our online shop and while browsing ‘favourites’ there was a Durex multipack!m on the list! I recognise all the other products in the favourites list apart from one type of men’s deodorant.

Both were ‘sponsored’ items so maybe I’m being paranoid?! But condoms are an unusual item to try and sell us as we - or should that be I?! - haven’t bought any for a few years!!!

AIBU to think that DP is blatantly cheating?!

DayManChampion Well, (even though I’m over my suspicions, honest!) yes I did check DPs washbag... Surely if he was dim enough to collect Clubcard points on secret condoms he’d not think to hide the deodorant either! However my search results were negative!

delphG Erm, hummus and naice ham are already in my favourites... I could try chicken nuggets instead?!

Condoms appeared on my shopping list today too as a sponsored item. I haven’t bought them for around 2 years. You don’t have anything to worry about x

Hi OP I thought of you as I did an online shop and Durex came up.
Tesco btw.
I know Im the only one that ever does an online shop and that we've not needed condoms in years; many, many years.

And what it wouldn’t do is substitute furniture polish (or anything else) for condoms anyway. It would substitute condoms for condoms.

I’m sure I remember someone chiming on on an odd substitutions thread to say that they ordered condoms and their substitution was ... a pregnancy test Grin

I order online from Esprit occasionally and lately their “chosen especially for you” items have been maternity wear and baby clothes. Not so Hmm except for my age which makes it not impossible but certainly extremely unlikely that I’d be in the market for maternity wear right now!

On second thoughts maybe I’ve been categorised in Esprit’s ‘Last chance saloon’ demographic and they’re just trying to give me the hint to fish or cut bait Grin
