To be unsurprised that Corbyn is still being called anti-semitic?

Corbyn has been quite happy over the years to work with those who are clearly anti-Semitic. And he continues to do so. Whilst at the same time saying that he condemns all forms of racism, recently changed to say he condemns anti semitism. Does he not realise yet that people judge him by his actions, not his broad statements which are pretty meaningless? And until he clearly shows in his actions that he condemns anti semitism, these allegations will continue?

walking

I hope not and I don’t really think so. The students now know he won’t cut their loans or stop them and that was his appeal last time.

Brexit will be sorted and a deal cobbled together.

May will either be ousted or get the sympathy vote, either way Tories win,

Abbott will make more embarrassing gaffs as usual and most people do see through Corbyn as a monumental prat.

Corbyn isn’t leading labour he’s leading momentum. I hope they loose.

We need a good strong Labour Party. Fingers crossed it comes soon and momentum bots crawl back into the swamp they crawled out of to destroy labour.

samG76 · 01/08/2018 21:26

The wizard - they are marginalised because they are not interested in Judaism except as a convenient cover. For example, I have never met a JVL signatory at a communal event, even a completely secular one like the maccabi fun run. Nor have I ever seen one at the school gate.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 01/08/2018 21:27

Brexit is costing millions a week all to make the country poorer. The Tories can never talk of magic money trees again. Love that Corbyn scares the right wing establishment

Justanotherlurker · 01/08/2018 21:28

Seasawride

If corbyn goes, they will put Mcdonnell in charge, momentum are living in their own fantasy land, people aren't going to vote for a communist and it will just be yet another right wing smear.

As can be seen on this thread, its still in the doubling down stage for them.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 01/08/2018 21:32

The fear grows stronger...we went from anti semitism to Venezuela to IRA and now communist. The crib sheets been failing for 3 years.

Justanotherlurker · 01/08/2018 21:32

Shit that it is regarding Brexit, Corbyn is a fully paid up member.

Those same banks and multinationals that are on your side re brexit, also said pretty much the same things regarding Corbyn in the last election.

The mental gymnastics a Corbyn supporter has to go through daily must be tiring

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 01/08/2018 21:34

We all know who he has shared platforms with and who he wouldn’t share platforms with Hmm

We also witnessed him ignoring at the anti semitism report press conference one of his MP’s being horribly heckled and was visablu upset (a conference that was of a sensitive nature) by a known supporter of his who apparently had no idea that she was Jewish and he sat there and did fuck all

Ruth Smeeth knows what anti semitism is but seems others know better

And how long did it take to get rid of Ken Livingstone

He is the leader of the party he is meant to take decisive action but doesn’t always seem it necessary

Justanotherlurker · 01/08/2018 21:35

You resorted to memes again and calling bingo?

Are you saying McDonnell is not a communist?

GhostofFrankGrimes · 01/08/2018 21:35

The party of business says fuck business. Are they closet communists? Grin

Mental gymnastics another one ticked off the right wing crib sheet.

Justanotherlurker · 01/08/2018 21:36

The party of business says fuck business. Are they closet communists?

You have conveniently missed my point, but hey it's another one for your crib sheet.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 01/08/2018 21:37

Why don’t you ask him? I’m not particularly bothered.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 01/08/2018 21:42

Fear grows stronger for what ?

Corbyn winning the next election

Tories will pull themselves together before the next election the always do

And what is Corbyn doing excatly holding the government to account over the shambolic Brexit negotiations- no

I guess he is making jam and pickles

Justanotherlurker · 01/08/2018 21:44

Why don’t you ask him? I’m not particularly bothered.

In that case, I'm not sure you know how to play bingo.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 01/08/2018 21:47

Tories pull themselves together? They were out of office for a decade. That was without Brexit.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 01/08/2018 21:56

Yes and the were up against Blair

A far more effective party leader regardless of your thoughts on his policies

Look how efficient their party whip is when it absolutely had to be (vote in article 50) Tories will always pull together to stay in power come he next election they will again

Walkingdeadfangirl · 01/08/2018 21:57

I see GhostofFrankGrimes is really panicking trying to deflect from the indefensible in this thread.

Justanotherlurker · 01/08/2018 22:11

Look how efficient their party whip is when it absolutely had to be (vote in article 50)

And look at JC using the 3 line whip to implement it as well.

But apparently I'm playing from the right wing crib sheet by mentioning mental gymnastics.

commonarewe · 01/08/2018 22:51

I see GhostofFrankGrimes is really panicking trying to deflect from the indefensible in this thread.

He's realizing that his Father Christmas is actually a nasty old gimp with some really dodgy friends...

commonarewe · 01/08/2018 22:54

Just realized I assumed Frank was a bloke! I guess some Momentum cultists could also be women too.

TheWizardofWas · 01/08/2018 22:57

How dare you police what it means to be a Jew. Outrageous behaviour and a disgusting accusation. For me, to be a Jew is to be part of the critical, radical, anarchist, communist, intellectual tradition that so brilliantly constituted itself in the modern period. And fuck you if that is not a ‘proper’ Jew enough.

CreamCol0uredP0nies · 01/08/2018 23:22

Corbyn has had months to sort this out and hasn’t.
Whatever your politics, stop making apologies for him.
He is leader of the Oppostion ( and the party I have voted for my entire adult life until he became leader)
Anti Semitism is the line in the sand that cannot be crossed

Corbyn is a fool, lacking in intellect, he should be wiping the floor with the Conservatives and yet he is weak, utterly lacking in principal and as a pp said upthread not fit to lick the boots of John Smith.

jaynelovesagathachristie · 01/08/2018 23:30

Started to read the twitter thread they pick and choose their sources. A rally attended by many groups against Israel and their behaviour towards Palestine. Twitter feed focuses on the extreme anti semites there not the fact Corbyn was not there for them

SarfE4sticated · 01/08/2018 23:33

So .... just chipping in to ask, if JC did stand down, who (iyo) would be the best person to lead the Labour Party?

Seasawride · 01/08/2018 23:59

Lurker

Didn’t think of that to be honest. God breakaway party? A new Labour Party? But no why should momentum communists, mysogynistts and racists hyjack a great movement. How dare they!

Ghosto

Self ID? Really really? And your last post reminded us all how utterly inept and what poor judgment JC has shown for years Thanks for that.

SarfE

I wanted Yvette but I think the party has become so dreadfully mysogynistic that’s not going to happen.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 02/08/2018 00:00

if JC did stand down, who would be the best person to lead the Labour Party?

It would be Mcdonnell he is much more jew friendly not (vomit)
