I just did!! It worked!!!

Piggywaspushed · 27/07/2018 16:43

No pitter patter raindrops though but my hands are tingling.

Justonedayatatime11 · 27/07/2018 16:44

Where freda where?! I'm Norfolk and all I can see is blue skies and it's still scorching!

Blushah · 27/07/2018 16:45

Again, use This!!

It'll show you what rain's coming, and you can track the likelihood of you getting it, how heavy and for how long!

I rarely go out on a changeable day without a glance at it!

gingercat02 · 27/07/2018 16:45

We have distant thunder and about 5secs of huge rain drops and then nothing. Some rain for the grass would be lovely

Spongeface · 27/07/2018 16:45

Big rain! Aberdeen! I'm loving these updates!

Purple999Red · 27/07/2018 16:45

I actually love it when it rains.. As long as it's not a result of a storm or something that would lead to flooding.

spiderlight · 27/07/2018 16:45

Just had a lovely long heavy shower in South Wales Grin

MaureenMLove · 27/07/2018 16:45

Met office promises 80% chance of thunderstorm and rain at 8pm here.
That's pretty positive!

Smoothsailing9 · 27/07/2018 16:46

Where I’ve been working today (Cambridgeshire) there’s an overhead screen in front of my desk showing local weather. All day it’s been taunting me with impending ‘heavy rain showers’. Not a flipping drop yet! 32 degrees earlier!

bruffin · 27/07/2018 16:47

We have had a rumble of thunder in the distance now but still no rain but a bit overcast

PickAChew · 27/07/2018 16:48

It never rains, it pours. Floods in North Yorkshire and teesside after a massive storm, this morning Nd the signals at York were knocked out by a lightning strike, leaving thousands of travellers stranded at Leeds and Darlo.

Blushah · 27/07/2018 16:48

Looks like it's back to the Watering Can Tango for me again this evening.... Near Southampton. But not the bit that appears to have received a couple of big showers....

dontcallmelen · 27/07/2018 16:48

South east London/borders of Kent, distant rumbling dark sky then about five drops of rain, it’s still 31deg at the moment.

MissClareRemembers · 27/07/2018 16:49

The nation is now divided into those who already knew what ‘petrichor’ meant before this thread and those that didn’t!

I didn’t. Blush

Bucketed down here in this part of Surrey. Started with lightening, then thunder, the torrential rain. I zoomed out to bring the washing in whilst doing my usual trick of worrying about whether I should be anywhere near a washing line in the middle of a thunder storm! Grin

Whatthefoxgoingon · 27/07/2018 16:49

We’ve had the briefest of showers and now all gone Sad

DroningOn · 27/07/2018 16:49

NOOOOOOO! fuck off rain. Better not be the end of this most amazing summer.

MaureenMLove · 27/07/2018 16:50

I looked at that Met office rain radar and nothing! Not a flippin drop anywhere near me at all!!

Since2016 · 27/07/2018 16:50

Blushah · 27/07/2018 16:50

sagasleathertrousers · 27/07/2018 16:53
