I'm not religious but currently thanking god .... in Hampshire here...been 30 degrees plus I could actually cry

Looking at the lightening map and it has all completely bypassed us. I could cry. Its still sticky here.

Thought i saw a flash of lightening but dh said it was the sun reflecting off the door which tbh has just pissed me off even more I'm too hot and grumpy

It's gone quite dark here and the wind's got up.

I am genuinely crying. I thought it was raining, it turned out to be next door neighbours sprinkler I could hear.

Raining here still 😁 it feels so fresh with a lovely breeze through the house !

It just got dark, the wind is picking up and the seagulls are going crazy. I have never been this excited about the prospect of rain before

It's gone very dark and windy here... Also the cats are - temporarily - smugly rolling in the flowerbed because I failed to wrangle them inside. Part of me hopes the contrary little fuckers are about to get drenched.

Live in London but currently in a tent in rainy Devon with the heater on. Hoping for water for my London allotment and so planning on doing a naked rain dance round the camp site for our allotment and you poor folk who are sweltering.

Cooled down loads here now, lightning still happening rain seems to have stopped..

ive been struggling so much with the heat especially at night,i dont sweat so my body overheats very easily

Our storm arrived in Essex! Torrential downpour - lovely like tropical rain.
May have immediately ran outside like a lunatic and pranced around in it shouting “bring it! Bring it!” while DH looked on in amusement...

It must have rained as my patio is wet but I missed it .

The storm has returned to NE Yorks after listening to it rumble around us for over an hour. It suddenly went pitch black (from half dark) the wind increased and the heavens opened in dramatic style! Bonkers lightning out there too!

Ooh. Wind has picked up.

Nottingham here. Its gone quite dark and the wind's got up (ha ha sparklingbrook we say that too)

None here, but my mum about 20 miles away has had heavy hail.

I have been loving the weather but even I now want rain to cool it down just a little and of course for the environment.

It is going to be cooler and rain off an on for a few days here. Just in time for my holiday. I knew it would happen.
